Have 6 now, easy set up. Load the app, and insert the sd card before you power on. Otherwise you might have to reset and start over. Very good quality and works as advertised. Good picture even when sunshine is in the view. I wont buy anything else.
This TRACKMIX security camera option from brand REOLINK has met my expectations, by comparison to both other cameras I own from this brand, and particularly security cameras I have used from other brands, before now.Coming in at 8MP, it is still surprisingly sharp and offers a significant amount of quality features. That said, I also own a REOLINK 12-Channel 4K WiFi NVR which supports 8MP cameras from the same brand, so I am able to utilize this camera as part of a larger ecosystem. And that is an important feature in and of itself. But each camera I choose from REOLINK always proves to be a fantastic choice and valuable extension to my overall security system, so I cannot imagine going back to a different brand. The camera also has vibrant colour night vision beyond its already tremendous quality day vision, and offers solid angles of my surrounding property where it is installed. It also features two-way talk which is very convenient; sound is nice and clear, there is subject and vehicle detection and tracking, along with a substantial 6x zoom that still looks decent fully-extended. As aforementioned, the camera also works great with my NVR; they complement each other very well, allowing me to also stay completely independent of any service plans, transferring all data directly to the NVR. There is also total control over your footage with an easy to use, fully featured app.I don't claim to be any sort of security camera expert, but I have tried numerous options in the past and just went through the routine of setup and expecting they would only provide me with average quality and line of sight. This TRACKMIX camera, in-stride with other products I have from this brand, only serves to compliment everything I previously knew about security camera footage, and is superior by comparison to my past experiences with lesser systems.I do not recommend anyone look at any other camera options because REOLINK is the camera brand you want, and this camera certainly offers a great example of why that is. 5 stars.
Video quality is outstanding. I love the wide angle lens and having that close up view as well!I recommend putting a 1 second delay on alarms tho to reduce false alarms from rain or bugs in the evening! The camera generally stays connected to wifi great unless it doesn't have a good signal. I did have a problem with it switching between access points to the one with lower signal strength but ended up hooking a wired ethernet cable to that one then.Overall a great camera and very easy to setup via the Reolink App.
I got this dual camera Reolink TrackMix WiFi security camera to replace an older camera that was only single camera that didn't tilt down far enough to see deliveries on the ground.Like the other reolink camera I have, it needs to be setup with either their Windows app or mobile app. I found both Windows and Android apps worked great for setup and that the camera had no issues connecting either hard wired or with WiFi. I like wired as I use BlueIris DVR to record my cameras with.It does work nicely with BlueIris but you have to enable some of the other protocols such as ONVIF or RTSP. The program was able to find the main feed, but the second feed I had to do a simple search and their support community already had details on getting the proper url.The quality of the camera looks great in many different lighting senerios. I like to keep the IR light off and along my pathway with 12v lighting, it looks great without the IR.I also like that you can turn down/off the speaker volume as I don't use that either but it still works nicely. I like that you can also remove the date and time stamp as well as the product watermark from being recorded. It would have been nice if they included a micro sd card, but I had one and having additional recording on that was nice too so that you don't need to pay for cloud storage. The recording looks great as the 4K quality is noticeable and downloading a clip didn't take long since I was hard wired. The spotlight could be useful but I don't like drawing attention to it. The panning is nearly 360 degrees and the tilt doesn't fully go up or fully pointing down, but for my needs was good enough to see packages being placed on my door mat.I like that this camera had some weight to it but was not a fan of the screw mount. I have it installed on a wooden post and the mount has a weird L shape that points outwards on the top.Another thing I didn't like was although nice to have the dual camera's, it was not that useful in my setup. I have it monitoring my walkway and all the other camera could do is zoom in on a wall. If you're actively using this as a PTZ camera, the second camera with the hybrid zoom might be more useful. One thing they didn't really go in depth on is what really this 'hybrid' zoom really is. For me it only looks like the camera does maybe a 2-4 times optical zoom and the rest of the zoom looks like it's digital. I didn't notice any physical movement in the lenses when testing the zoom.Overall I was decently impressed with the physical quality of this camera. I've had it installed for about a week outside and it has done well in around -20 Celsius. The microphone picks up sound well and the camera controls are responsive. I find that the manufacturer has many different models and types of security cameras and the ones I've owned have performed great so far and I've never really had issues. I like that their support pages are responsive even for third party DVRs like blueiris. In terms of value, at time of ordering this camera was just under $300. I feel like if you want to have independent cameras, you could still get two separate 4K POE cameras for around the same value, but you might not get the 6x hybrid zoom ability.
The REOLINK 4K Wired WiFi Outdoor Camera, 8MP Dual Lens Security Camera, 360 PTZ Camera Auto Tracking, 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi Smart Person/Vehicle Detection, 6X Hybrid Zoom, Color Night Vision, TrackMix WiFiis good quality and well made. It's easy to setup and use.The app was quick to download and install. I think it may be possible that you don't have to create an account but you can if you want to. Creating an account was fast and simple. The camera is hefty and part of the housing is metal. Very heavy duty and robust. It's the highest quality camera I've owned so far.The person and motion detection work well. You can add a micro SD card for local recording which also works. The SD card slot has a screw on cover which makes it less likely someone will come and take the SD card. It takes more effort to remove it.It can connect to 2.4 or 5Ghz networks which is something that is lacking in most security cameras. Generally they only do 2.4Ghz.In the box is a power extension cable which is awesome as usually the power cable is either way too long or too short. With this one you have the option of either. The camera is much less dependent on remote servers to operate as opposed to others that require the remote server. This one can be setup to be viewed locally via a web browser and the local IP address. The app can get you connected to your WiFi network quickly and provide information about the camera such as its IP address. You can configure the camera to enable HTTP/S connections as well as RTSP which is a protocol that can allow the video feeds to be picked up by recording equipment.Makes the camera very versatile and you can use it in places where you may not have internet connections.I did try to power the camera with PoE but it is not designed for that. Which is fine as it's not advertised as such but I just wanted to confirm.Overall it's a bit pricey at ~$240 at the time of this review but the features and quality make it well worth it!
This Reolink 4K wired Wifi PTZ Trackmix security camera comes with a comprehensive list of features and performance specifications, and overall it performs pretty much to spec. For video quality, the daytime 4K video is very crisp and clear, while night time video is good-to-very good quality, especially with spotlight on, and ok video quality with IR illumination.Audio quality does sound a bit thin, and is dependent on where you mount the camera and where you stand with respect to it, with decent quality within around 8ft of the camera. Also, there's only a slight lag with the audio, something like less than 1 second. The Reolink app used to control and view this camera is well refined, with a full suite of controls and features from dual-view streaming, to manual PTZ control and setting up custom detection zones & alerts. The sensitivity level set for detection zones and alerts works generally well, but not always reliable, as I've experienced missed events about 10% to 20% of the time. When I cranked up the sensitivity too much, it tends to over detect as well, so I found it difficult to find a proper balanced setting. This camera can be easily integrated into the Reolink Home Hub. The camera's WiFi connectivity is generally stable, with 2 or 3 disconnects per week - however, the camera does eventually auto-reconnect after 3 to 4 minutes.Even though I have the camera connected to a Reolink Home Hub for recording events, but the camera is connected to my WiFi router (extender), rather than to the Home Hub's onboard WiFi SSID. This is because the camera is farther away from the Home Hub than my WiFi router (extender). This setup works fine for recording frequent events, and there's no discernible difference in lag time when controlling the PTZ from the mobile app between these two different WiFi connection paths.
Highly Recommend this camera. Operates smoothly. It does exactly as advertised. My Stepson saw how it operated and I showed the moniter view using the NVR. He ordered two cameras and the NVR for his home. Easy installation.
I bring a fan of reolink for about 5 years now and never had issues with their products. This camera is a big upgrade from my 523wa, I bought years ago. The video quality is excellent except for the zoom lens. The telephoto lens video quality has motion blur issues but other than that it's not bad. My big concern is the remote access. Every time I'm out I have issues connecting to my cameras and it's frustrating after I get a motion notification. No matter what settings I change I can not connect on my LTE phone. I have giga internet at home so bandwidth is not the problem. As in the picture I provided it will get stuck at connecting than it will pop up connection fail every time. I hope reolink fixes this issue soon.Update 06.21.25.Still having connectivity issues. I switched Internet providers and replaced my router, but I am still having issues connecting to my cameras away from home and that poses a huge security risk in my property, so I decided to try out Tapo wireless cameras and I am no longer having connectivity issues. Tapo may not have the video quality as reolink but I have no other choice.
The Reolink 360 PTZ camera is an excellent choice for anyone seeking comprehensive security coverage without the need for multiple fixed cameras. Its standout feature is the full 360-degree pan, tilt, and zoom functionality, which allows you to remotely monitor every corner of a large area with a single device. The controls are responsive and intuitive, making it easy to track movement or focus on specific points of interest. The 6x hybrid zoom is particularly impressive. Unlike a simple digital zoom that degrades image quality, this camera maintains remarkable clarity as you zoom in on distant objects. This is perfect for capturing fine details like license plates or faces. Combined with crisp 4K resolution and advanced night vision, the camera provides sharp, reliable surveillance around the clock. Given its robust build and powerful feature set, the Reolink 360 PTZ offers fantastic value and is a top-tier solution for both home and business security.
So far, unbelievable for the price. The automatic tracking works much better than advertised, the motion tracking Works practically flawlessly (and much further than the advertised 100 ft from the camera). The best part about it, is there's no monthly or yearly fee. I get all of the features of the big name brands, without having to pay a monthly fee just to be able to save the videos. Motion tracking even captures and follows a hummingbird from time to time, but not often because they move so fast. I'm just impressed when it does capture them. It has its limitations, it would be nice if the large image was a wider angle, but I'm not going to complain because I still I'm picking my jaw up off the ground with the quality of the product. Connectivity, video quality, AI tracking, notifications, I'm so used to wyse that I am absolutely blown away at how crisp and clear the video is, especially at 25 frames per second versus the 15 of my previous camera. That makes the whole world of difference. I think my favorite feature is the presets. You can save specific locations, and zoom so you can quickly tap from spot to spot and the camera whips into position quickly, that way you don't have to mess around with the joystick trying to get it just right. My only gripe is the delay, but that is going to be present with any Wi-Fi cameras that aren't poe. So that isn't a limitation of this product, it's a limitation of using Wi-Fi only. I would recommend using PoE if you can, it will make a huge difference for the lag time between camera controls and the camera actually moving. I don't think I'll buy another brand of camera again after having one of these. And to think this is one of their entry models... I almost wish I went with the 16x Zoom model, but I couldn't really afford it. Five stars all around
This is an excellent quality security camera that has dual 4K 8MP cameras that provide 360 degree coverage and uses both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. The camera requires a wired power connection and comes with the required hardware to install it. When on 5GHz networks the camera is very responsive and can stream high quality 4K video with no buffering or stuttering. The video and image quality is excellent and is much clearer then most others I have used. The cameras have IR, colour night vision and 6x hybrid zoom. The images and video can be viewed remotely or stored locally on memory card up to 256Gb. The wide angle lens provides a large coverage area and the camera has motion tracking that can pan 355 degrees and tilt 90 degrees. The camera has LED spotlights that provide ample lighting to the area surrounding the camera to provide clear colour image and video at night. You can use the REOLINK app to set up alerts, motion tracking and the AI can detect humans, vehicles and animals to prevent false alerts. The device is made with quality and like other REOLINK products I have used should be durable if taken care of.
