I ordered these after seeing an ad, they are good. I think this is a great idea, and this company is on to something... But they haven't quite gotten there yet. Someone said they need to be stronger, I agree... I do feel like something is missing, not sure how they can replicate the simple syrup, without going overboard. Like it for what it is, but it can be better
Perfect for travel! No need to bring the bar along! These tea bags were perfect and made a good drink!
These work pretty well, the longer it sits int he bourbon and ice the better the flavor. Great travel alternative for sure.
What a find!! Not to sound like a hipster, but I consider myself a bit of a snob when it comes to well balanced old fashioned cocktails. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that these teabags delivered an easy and tasty old fashioned. Great for travel or to just keep in a drawer at home. They also make a fun and thoughtful gift for the cocktail enthusiast or frequent traveler. Will definitely buy again.
I travel with these and a small bottle of bitters in my suitcase. Perfect for an in-room old fashioned before dinner.
This isn't worth the money. I let the bag soak in the bourbon for 5 minutes like the direction say. Four Roses Single barrel. I figured if it didn't work at least I'd have some nice bourbon to sip. Pulled the bag and nothing in it had softened. The sugar hadn't dissolved and the fruits were still hard/dried. I left it in for another 5 minutes. I pulled it and ended up squeezing the bag trying to get anything out of it. The fruit finally softened up. I never really tasted the orange or cherry, or an old fashioned. The sugar did eventually dissolve. I was basically drinking straight sweetened bourbon (which isn't a bad thing), just not an old fashioned. I won't buy this again.
This is pretty nifty. The flavor is kind of sweet and tangy.
I thought these would be great to use on a flight. Not so much. They tasted really bland with bourbon.
