Love how easy it is to use, both while traveling and when I am looking to make a good cocktail quickly at home. Inside the infusion bag is real dried fruit and natural ingredients, which gives it great taste! I took the infusion bags with me to a party at my neighbor’s house and they were a big hit. They loved how simple and quick it was to make a bar quality Old Fashioned at home. A good Bourbon, a HailM infusion bag, ice and in a couple of minutes you have a great cocktail!
Interesting concept! It certainly feels different to steep a drink, so that's something to get used to. You do need to steep for a while, min 5 min but really longer, so the planning makes it a bit more of a novelty item than a staple. Flavor is similar to old fashioned, but you can tell it's made differently. Not at all bad though, and I really did enjoy it.
I like the concept and I wish they had some flavor. I let sit for longer periods, etc to find a difference and could not taste anything. The price is ridiculous as well, but I was willing to pay because I think it's a great idea, just was not successful.
I originally got these in a gift basket. I absolutely adored them so much that I had to get more! I loved the real fruit pieces in them and the natural and fun flavor! My daughter loves making these with her friends without alcohol and says they are a fun party drink! Would 100% recommend to anyone considering buying these! In the photo you can see that it got darker over time.
The packaging would have you believe that 5 minutes would be fine, but plan for 30 minutes of steeping to get reasonable flavor (and this is using a strong alcohol without much flavor of its own). Definitely add ice after the steeping is completed to satisfaction. The color of the whiskey doesn't change too much although more noticeable with a transparent alcohol, depending as well on which flavor you used. This is a sampler pack but it's still really expensive for what it is.
Interesting product. Useful for a plane…most def let the bags steep without ice for at least twice as long as recommended. If you really want an OF or two on a plane…these will get the job done.
Wow - these were so tasty and so easy to use. I’m trying to reduce sugar and all processed food - I LOVE that I could see all the ingredients! I put the bag into the cup with the alchohol, let it sit for a bit - fair warning … the plane was COLD so I had to wait a while for the drink to dissolve - then I added the ice and a bit of sparkiling water. I used the Blueberry Lemon drink and it was SO GOOD, it went perfectly with a splash of the Blueberry AHA they have on the plain. In the end, a tasty cocktail that was easy to use!
I was intrigued by the idea of a “tea bag” for whiskey—an easy way to turn a neat pour into a custom cocktail. The packaging is convenient and travel-friendly, and I liked the variety of flavors in the sampler pack. It’s a clever concept, especially for hotel rooms or flights where mixing a drink isn’t practical. The flavor isn’t overly sweet, which I appreciate, and it offers a subtle twist without adding extra liquid. That said, the infusion is very light—even after steeping for well beyond the suggested five minutes. I gave it up to 30 minutes and still found the flavor underwhelming. It’s a fun idea with potential, but it needs more punch to be worth the wait. A solid step in the right direction, but not quite there yet.Overall, it’s a creative and travel-friendly concept with a lot of promise, but it needs a stronger flavor payoff to truly stand out.
