3M™ GoggleGear™ Protective Goggle 3000 Series features a full-size design with wraparound lens for improved field of vision, and slotted nose bridge for a more comfortable fit. Features optimized shroud design to accommodate many prescription eyewear.
Have been using these at the range and they’ve been great for wearing over my eyeglasses without adding bulk and pressure behind the ear under my noise cancelling earmuffs. My eyes start to feel funny after a while though and I’m not sure if the air circulation through the vents on these is bad or if lead dust is getting in and being trapped. Opening them up at regular intervals seems to help.
Perfect fit and comfort for a person who wears prescription glasses. Seals fairly well but with a respirator it can be a bit tricky to seal good at the nose portion. No issues with fogging as long as it’s sealed. Vision is good. Definitely would trust to protect my eyes from a rogue piece of metal.I used it for sandblasting and no dust got into the goggles. Overall a pretty quality product for those with glasses.
The 3M Goggle Gear goggles are definitely well built and feel sturdy in hand. As a carpenter, I appreciate that they’re comfortable to wear and the materials seem durable enough for daily use. That said, they don’t give me full coverage. I have a bigger, squared face, and when I’m cutting wood, small chips still manage to get inside from the sides and bottom. For lighter tasks, they work fine, but for woodworking or jobs with flying debris, I’d prefer something that seals more securely around the face.Overall, good quality and design, but not the best choice for myself.
We used these goggles for a sanitation service. I like them because they did not fog up. I recommend these.
It sucked
A very good, tight-fitting goggle that seems to give good protection. I like this company's "slip-on" glasses that are often called goggles these days, but I have experienced too many stray projectiles making their way past them. So I've gone back to true google-type protection.
These are by-far the best safety goggles I've tried. I always trust 3M, as they have a reputation for solid, reliable equipment and products.THE FOG - it's way better than the other goggles but it's still there with long periods of use in hot and low ventilation areas. You can work for far longer without having to take a break to wipe the fog. Any full seal goggles is going to fog without some kind of ventilation. These do the best job of mitigating that, that I've encountered so far. They fit well with a respirator and even though the bottom of the goggles can't seal to your face with respirator in the way, the seal material is soft enough that it will seal to the respirator.
I used these 3M goggles with Thrift drain cleaner. The goggles are great. I would buy them again.
Because of my gunsmithing and refurbishment of an iron piece that had rust and paint i needed something that added eye protection. I came across these when I was looking for a respirator. I have always loved 3M products so I pulled the trigger to get them. The price was great and when they showed up I test fit the item. The item is really well made and there were no fogging issues even with the respirator on. The only issue I have with this item is that because I have a more flat contour to my face it had a little gap on the bottom part of the goggles. Besides that I still would recommend these to any other person needing a good eye protectant. The plastic lens is also very sturdy and scratch resistant.
