Currently in vet school and learning aseptic technique. I got these to practice folding gowls and gowning and gloving. They work amazing. I have not tried washing yet but they feel well made. I am unable to autoclave as i am just a student learning so I am unsure how they would do in one.

These are solid material that feels light but you can tell is going to provide protection. They tie in the back, which can be a little challenging to figure out initially, but that's actually going to provide the best protection since there won't be a seam in front. Biggest thing for me is that they fit me well at 6'-2" and long arms, the sleeve and cuffs were plenty long to not ride up and expose my wrists.

Great for PPE. I appreciate so much been able to cover most of me lol. I hate having to use long sleeves for making soap, but with this, my little arms are protected. The are fitted on the wrist and closed in the back with strings. Now, depending on the temperature that you will be working will this be a sauna or not. Durable plastic material. Safety 1st guys!

I was hoping to use these for my messy resin 3d printing hobby. I destroy expensive shirts and pants with chemicals, resins, paints and glues all the time, and an apron doesn't protect the shirt much. I can get sprayed while removing supports, , and this smock covers everything down to my lower shins. The sleeves are long and I can glove over the cuff. It feels like woven nylon, but it is air proof, so if it is woven it is also sealed. This will protect my clothes well!

Whether you're a doctor or just like to play doctor, whether you're needing protection while working with animals, painting, cleaning or handling messy stuff, worried about getting bodily fluids on you, or just want a fun Halloween costume, these reusable surgical gowns are a nice alternative to the more common disposable gowns. Don't get me wrong, disposable gowns have their place, but most versions aren't particularly durable, they generate a lot of waste, and often don't have the features that make or break a gown's usability. What's to like about this particular gown? For starters, the sleeves have proper knit cuffs on them, making it far easier to don surgical gloves and have the glove cuffs extend up over the gown sleeves with less bunching, which in turn makes these more comfortable. The fabric is also much more durable than the non-woven disposable gowns, though it does have a little bit of that nylon shower curtain feel and makes a bit of a swishing sound as you move around. I also think that the price point is pretty attractive for something that seems like you could get a fair bit of use out of.How could this be improved? For starters, as my photos show, there were a couple areas where the internal stitching failed to fully capture both edges of the fabric, and I am concerned that this will be an area where the fabric can fray as it is washed repeatedly. I get that this is a reusable but disposable gown, so the stitching need not be at the same level as a pair of jeans being worn day in day out over the course of a couple years, but a little more care would be appreciated.I also would love it if the manufacturer offered this in a few different sizes, rather than the one size fits all. I'm 5'10 and the height on this is fine, though the sleeves are a little on the long side, but workable. But since I'm also fairly slim, there's a lot of excess fabric wrapping around me, so being able to switch sizes could give people more options for a better fit.

I have worked in healthcare for a few years and servicing healthcare institutions prior to that. I am now an educator who on occasion can use a gown that is able to protect me and my clothing from various forms of matter. This fits my needs well since it is easy to put on (just like any other isolation gown), and is easy to clean. I like that I can put it on quickly, get the job that I need to do completed quickly and then throw it directly into the washing machine. This has been effective for cleaning my air filters in my HVAC system and any other type of job that involves dust that could potentially carry various pathogens. If I was in healthcare again, I would like this gown because it seems considerably less porous than any other gown that I have used except a disposable gown. The O.R. gowns are very nice too, but this is priced very nicely for the private sector. The stitching is not the best, especially where a serging machine would stitch the edges where two panels meet. I have no issue recommending this gown since it seems to be very functional. I would not recommend this for a high use area since I do not believe the stitching would withstand repeated industrial laundering process very well.
