No more slippery black controls to slide awayThis has a real good feel to meMakes control easier to holdGives it a good feel in your handWas easy to put on. This siliconeIs soft and a little stretchy but just the right thicknessProtects your control. I know my recliner is about 12 feet from tv and it works fine. Oh sorry that was about the new remote I orderedBack to the cover. I love the lanyard! Its big enough to go around wrist and use the remoteI did that for a while for securityThen I realized the rubber or silicone texture kept it from sliding around. Now I just use that on a hook that is holding a couple light switches.I haven’t tried charging it up in sunlight to see a glow in the darkBut the color is bright and stands out against my hunter green recliner
