08-03-2026Better than expected. Very good pigmentation, and very smooth. The core is soft and not overly waxy. Blending works very well with a little finesse. Gotta take a star off because the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. I had a lot of broken points. Luckily the whole core wasn't broken on any of them and I was able to sharpen them just fine. Will probably get these again because for a budget set they are quite good. About the same quality as the 50ct Prang set at the same price.

08-03-2026i was pleasantly surprised by the quality. i'm a prismacolor premier user, but every once in a while i like to give other brands a chance. while these aren't as creamy and blendable as premier pencils, they are smooth, highly pigmented, easily sharpened, and have good, soft coverage. wonderful quality for the price.

I normally buy prismacolour premier colour pencils but wanted something a bit more budget friendly for every day colouring.These perform quite well, laying down soft and smooth colour that is quite blendable. The pencils sharpen well too with minimal breaks.My only disappointment was that there were no brown or black shades in the entire box. With 160 colours, that was really surprising. I do wish there had been a swatch image available to show what was included.Overall I would likely buy these again.
