08-03-2026I cant speak to the flavor as i purchased to give as teacher end of year gifts. These are perfect size to add to a glass to get their summet started! 4 stars because i wish the packaging and pouches said tequila or sparkling water. The item description says it but the package doesnt, and in a world where not everyone drinks it would be nice if there was a note somewhere in the directions or something that said "make this a mocktail with sparkling water"

08-03-2026These packets are basically about a teaspoon of sugar plus a few flavorings. At least all the ingredients are recognizable. I make cocktails all the time and old-fashioneds are on the "very easy" side of the continuum, but I figured I would give these packets a try in case they were useful in a way I didn't imagine. They weren't. The instructions have you mix in a glass, like a standard old-fashioned recipe and call for a standard shot of whiskey (1.5 ounces) plus an ounce of water stirred in the glass along with the mix. The mix turned the glass somewhat cloudy and still had some sugar at the bottom after a 20 second stir. I added ice as directed and was a little surprised that the cocktail did not taste too weak since I don't typically add water to my old-fashioned. Taste was lightly sweet with some flavoring but I could not detect the individual flavors. Made one for the spouse also, who thought it was ok, but we prefer making them from scratch. At $3 a packet, these are expensive and a bit of a gimmick, especially the measuring markings on the side. I used my regular bar measuring glass but I suppose if I was camping or with someone who had NO bar tools, measuring liquids in the packet might be useful, but messy and inaccurate as well. Save your money and maybe buy yourself some bitters and a nice shot glass instead.

08-03-2026Since I'm pregnant and not drinking alcohol, I decided to try making a mocktail with this. Best decision ever! I felt like I was drinking something truly special. It tastes incredibly fresh with just the right amount of lime tanginess. I used a little bit of Sprite instead of tequila and BOOM I had a delicious mocktail in a matter of moments. I know restaurants that would charge $10 for something this quality! It was so easy to make, so refreshing, and made me feel like a queen. I can't wait to try it with tequila in the future :)

08-03-2026These are the best tasting Margarita drink mixes I have tried! We take powdered drink mix when backpacking and the corresponding alcohol to have backpacking "happy hour." I have tried other brands and they are often too sweet. This has the perfect taste, and it dissolves well in tequila and water. I add a freeze dried lime and it was wonderful!

08-03-2026I have tried a lot of different powdered drink mixes, and these are the absolute worst. Not only are they the most expensive, but each one was disgusting, tasting incredibly artificial and salty, and the powder would clump in the bottom of the cup, even after vigorous stirring.

08-03-2026I love making everything from scratch, but by the time I'm done prepping, mixing, and cleaning, everyone else is ready for another round. In in effort to enjoy myself more I thought I would try a premix, and settle for "fine" cocktails, and "fine" is not what I got from mixxers. I don't know how they get all the pictured ingredients into a small pouch, but it is perfect and tastes freshly made. This is the epitome of working smarter not harder, without sacrificing taste.
