I bought this tape to hang balloons with for a bachelorette party, and it worked fairly well. It was pretty sticky, and the balloons, for the most part, stayed up. A few of them we had to reattach due to them falling off the wall. I feel like the material that you'll be sticking this tape to doesn't matter. Like most tapes and adhesives, if the surface is textured, it can be a little more difficult for the tape to adhere to. The value for the roll was pretty good. I would buy this product again, but would just be careful where I try to put it.
I bought this for fabric crafts, but I quickly realized it was not the best product for my purpose. It is a very strong tape, and I will use it instead for rugs and other household items. Note: It is very hard to peel off the protective seal-tape from the actual double-sided tape. It created a strong seal for my craft project, but because it was so hard to separate the peel, I gave up. Great price for the product and it shipped quickly and without any problems.
I used this to repair a book binding. It really stuck, enough that when the book was dropped again, the paper tore around the edges but the binding repair did not budge. I like that it's very thin and invisible when applied neatly.
I used this tape to mount some plastic strips - used as shims - underneath the backside of my computer table, in order to create a level surface for my monitor mount arm clamp to attach. I needed to find tape that was strong yet thin enough so as to not add additional thickness to the strips. This tape performed perfectly for the job. At one point during installation, it was necessary to remove and reposition it slightly, which was easily done without leaving any residue to clean first. I highly recommend this product and will be keeping it on hand as a valuable tool in future computer setups.
Doesn’t hold. I bought this tape to “hem”, without stitching, some curtains that were just slightly too long for the new house we moved into. I didn’t want to buy new curtains, so I figured this was a great option. The tape is sticky! However, after a week or two, the “hem” began falling. I sat down and folded them back up on to the tape, but they fell again. Not sure if it’s the tape or possibly the fabric, but this didn’t work for our situation.Edited to add: When I went to peel the tape off, it felt impossible since it’s so sticky and left a little sticky residue. It was pulling threads out on my curtains(see last photo). So I don’t understand that it’s super sticky, but won’t hold up my curtains?! Waste of money!
I do not sew! I wish I did, but I don't. This is the perfect fix for someone like me!
Work just like described! Used to hem my curtains.
