08-03-2026I've purchased this item twice. The first time, I received a bag that looks very, very similar to the bag in the picture, which is awesome! It was perfect, so 5 stars! Then I ordered a second time, received it today, but the candy selection is not good, neither is the mix. There are a bunch of Almond Joys...I hate coconut. There is an insane number of Reese's peanut butter cups, from regular, crunchy to white chocolate. Literally, the bag I received looks like they could have sold it as a 2 lb bag of Reese's. There are maybe 5 Twix, exactly 3 M&Ms, and like 2 Milky Ways. And it appears to be old Halloween candy. I guess I don't mind that so much, as long as they aren't stale. But this product is way too inconsistent for me. I know they can't promise the exact bag that's displayed, but they certainly could have done much better with the ratio and distribution of different candies. If I didn't need them right away I would have sent it back for a full refund.

08-03-2026Half the candy shown was not in the bag. No Mr. Goodbar, No Hershey bar, No Twix, No Krackel, and No Reeses of any kind. What is advertised and what you get are not even close. I would not recommend this product for purchase. I think it was supposed to ship with cool packaging but it didn't so most of it melted.

08-03-2026Took off one star because it was overpriced for what was obviously odds and ends with very little variety. Of my 2 lb bag, over 1 lb was purple kisses, but everything seemed fresh and new. So for $20, I could have gotten a variety bag from Walmart that would have had better quality in terms of variety. I got this bag to treat my friends 4 kids, along with another non-chocolate bag from a different seller, to split into 4 pumpkin buckets. So for my purposes, it will work fine. Will I buy it again? Probably not. Will I recommend it to you? No. Will I tell you it's ok to buy if, like me, you waited too long and now Walmart is out of Halloween candy and it looks like the North Pole in there, but you need candy because you promised? Yeah, probably. But really - for the extra $2 just get the bags at Walmart.
