In fairness to the manufacturer, this was my first taste of a non-alcoholic wine so maybe my expectations were high. I was really hoping to like it and be able to continue to enjoy a glass of wine with my dinners.... But this did not taste like wine ... it tasted more like juice ... specifically more like orange juice ... which it actually has in it's list of ingredients. I dumped the bottle .... Now others may like the taste, maybe you are use to a different type of wine that has a more citrus taste to it ... but I'm a fan of dry Italian wines and this is far from that. I just tried another wine that is closer, but tastes watered down. I feel finding the non-alcoholic wine that fills the void of the wines you are used to is going to take trying different offerings ... and I'm guessing accepting a little less flavor.
I just opened the cab. Nice color First impression...Sour. Second...watery. No imaginative . Darn. Someone will make a good one. This isnt a teeny bit close. Its the worse wine Ive ever had unless gone bad Ive even tried two buck chuck and some brand at Aldi and they weren't bad. But this!
I started drinking non-alcoholic wine in August of 2020, after I realized my nightly wine habit had really started slowing me down. To say I've tried them all would be an understatement. Not only have I tasted every NA wine here in the states, I've imported a bunch of the European ones as well.Anyone who has tried alcohol-free wines knows that reds are by far the hardest to recreate. Most are bad. Too sweet. Too watery. But this non-alcoholic cabernet is far and away the best I've ever tried. It has great fruit flavor mixed with just the right spices to recreate that bold California Cabernet I used to love. Will you notice the alcohol missing? Yes. But is this as close as you can get with alcohol-free? Absolutely. So happy to have found this. Will definitely be buying more!!
I was impressed with how close they came to the actual taste of the red blend. I tried both the red blend and the Cabernet. I liked them both. Will buy again.
NA wine tastes great but expensive.Unfortunately this order was not packaged well. Lots of room to move in the box and it broke. Yes it may have been the UPS delivery, but Amazon will not let you replace it. It is too expensive for the bottle to break. Will not be ordering it from Amazon again. Many other options and they are cheaper too.
I really enjoyed this one. Smooth with some complexity. Of course it lacks the depth of an alcohol-based wine but that’s to be expected. Bad reviews that complain about de-alcoholized wines are missing the point. It’s like comparing apples to oranges. You are making a choice for a reason, stick with that mindset .
Very watered down.I like that it is not sweet, but the smell of raspberries is overwhelming. It is more like a sour juice, definitely not my favorite.Gieseng is the winner for me.
Did not like after taste.
