These are very tasty. I love venison. They are easy to bite and chew. Soft and scrumptious. I only wish they would lower the salt content. People with heart conditions can't consume alot of salt. Otherwise, I love them.

Good delivery timing and very tasty. Always like having a source for meats that are organically grass fed and grass FINISHED. That means they were not grain fed which would mean the meat that contains lineolic acid levels that many are trying to cut back on. Hope to find a source for chicken too.Look up the non industry reports/truth about seed oils and you will benefit. This is processed food, yes. But without the harm many such food have hidden in them. Expensive yes, but consider saving in health care down the road and it can pencil out.

I had a health practitioner suggest I increase protein intake and add in some game meats (venison, bison, elk) along with beef. I found Paleo Valley venison and beef sticks as a great solution to add these to my diet without a big bite in my budget. Paleo Valley provides several beef sticks that are all tasty and will appeal to a variety of consumer preferences though my personal favorite is the venison. All their sources are grass fed and finished, pasture raised and finished. You can instantly taste the difference in quality with your first bite. The sticks are firm and moist, nicely flavored and are simple to carry around as a quick snack or extra protein boost. I found I have less interest in sugary or carb-filled snacks by eating a quality protein source. Many other brands I've tried are hard, dry, heavily spiced and don't really taste natural. Not so with Paleo Valley. As a company, I found them to be very health conscious and have other supplements available, along with really useful educational tips for a healthier lifestyle. I think it's important to leave good reviews when I find something that's exceptional quality and Paleo Valley fits that bill.

Taste is good, if you can get past the thick and chewy casing, more so than others I've had. But I eat no processed foods and I think the dextrose in this has thrown of my gut, I don't get gas from Lorissa's meat sticks or Chomps.

Ugh, I wish these weren't so pricey, but I know it's because of the high-quality and I really do care about that. I'm willing to pay a bit more of grass-fed and finished meat. And these are the perfect quick snack. They're delicious, they're not hard and impossible to bite/chew like some meat sticks, and they give you clean nutrition. I didn't find them particularly greasy either. The packaging is impossible to open, but I wonder if I got a bad set - all of them are fully sealed at the top where normally there are two pieces so that you can peel the package open. All of mine require scissors to cut open which is frustrating but not the end of the world. Again, not sure if that's standard packaging or just a flaw on the ones I got. In any case, they are great and I have already repurchased!

These are the best meat sticks I’ve found in terms of flavor, natural ingredients, texture, and overall experience. I love that these sticks have a good amount of moisture—it’s closer to eating a summer sausage than jerky.Yes, they’re pricier but I find keeping these on hand keeps me from tearing through other unhealthy snacks so the price kinda balances out and I never feel like I’m depriving myself.I have ADHD and I have to take my meds with food. In addition, starting my day on carbs throws off everything. These sticks have helped immensely w consistency in my mornings when I don’t have the executive function power to make breakfast.

I didn't buy these for a while thinking they would taste games, but they are now my favorite.

The packaging reads: "VENISON STICK" and "made with 100% Grass Fed Venison".This is telling the buyer that they are buying a stick of 100% grass fed venison (in addition to spices). That is NOT the case!Conveniently (for paleovalley), the back side of the packaging is not shown on the product page. It tells you that they are made with beef. And of course, venison, but they don't even state the percentage! The description on the front of the packing is close to being fraudulent. Definitely not fair advertising. Yes, paleovalley can argue that they are indeed made with 100% grass fed venison (because the *venison* is 100% grass fed), and even though it is a venison/beef stick, is is also a venison stick. And that the beef content disclosure is on the back of the packaging. In any case, the fact that not made 100% of venison—but also contain beef should be prominent in FaceBook advertising, and the percentage of venison and beef (not even present on the back of the packaging) should also be included. The sticks are good tasting, but highly misleading front packaging, and the fact that I didn't get what I paid for, leaves a bad aftertaste.
