08-03-2026I'm in my early '70s I have been eating Hershey's for probably just as many years as I am old! The special dark does not taste the same as it used to but it's still pretty good! The original Hershey's, the Mr Goodbar, and a Crackl' taste just as good as I remember them and the size is perfect when you want to have a little bit of chocolate in your day! Highly recommended!

When the candy is in good shape, the milk chocolate, the darker one, the crisped rice version, and the peanut one all taste the way they always have. The portion size is nice when you just want a quick bite. A full bag gives you a decent spread of the four types, and the packaging is mildly seasonal without being over the top.The value depends almost entirely on freshness. I got luck and got a perfect bag with clean wrappers and normal texture. I did read others get candy that looks melted, dusty, or old. That variation is the main issue. At the current price, I expect more consistency. It is also not a huge bag, so if you run into a batch that looks damaged, the money feels wasted.When the candy is handled properly, it is exactly the nostalgic chocolate you expect. You just have to hope the bag you get has not been sitting in a warm warehouse.

08-03-2026I was able to scoop this up from Amazon Vine and I'm happy I did. It makes for perfect office candy! Selfishly, I just go for the Krackle bars. Everyone else can have the rest. Everything does seem fresh and store bought quality. It's not a huge bag but I'd say it's a perfect size for a personal dish to share.
