This is an amazing and accurate bay scale that can also be used as changing pad! I know that someone is saying that it might be expensive for, but it’s actually cheaper than many other changing pads, but on top it has a scale and measure tape and it is soft and padded. It doesn’t have a safety straps though, so I wouldn’t recommend to use it on top of the drawer or any other high surfaces. So these scales are very functional and so useful especially in the newborn’s first few weeks when baby’s weight monitoring is important. It is easy to set up and use, great device!

The price is slightly high for a scale, but it’s tons of fun to be able to weigh my baby whenever I want! I have big babies and I love knowing how much they weigh. My almost 5 month old is already over 20lbs. Crazy!It seems to be good quality, works as it should (my baby weighed within a few ounces of what she did at the doctors office the other day, so I’d say it’s accurate). It’s super easy to use. I haven’t had to replace batteries yet, and don’t expect to for a long time.

I've been able to test it a variety of ways and it actually works very well, I would recommend it for accuracy and specifically weighted feedings.I waited a while to write this so we could use it over a longer time and do more tests on it. It gave the same exact weight the scale at the doctor gave when measured right after we got home. I also tested a variety of water weights from different measuring cups and confirmed the measurement aligns with the expected water weight to within ~0.1 oz.I also used water to test the weighted feeding capability and it seemed acceptable. At a variety of starting weights of water I would take out just an oz and dump it back and it always returned to the same number which is good. Then I did that with 2, then 3, etc up to 16 oz for testing and the measured deltas in weight were always within 0.1 oz of the expected water weight values which is good. We've also tested it in actual weighted feedings and the results seem reasonable.So overall it passed the tests I would expect it to and it appears to be quite accurate and precise.

This baby scale by TIPRE is a nice choice if you're wanting or needing to monitor your baby's weight and growth on a budget. The buttons are easy and intuitive to use and the sides are curved to keep baby from rolling off. The surface area is made of smooth, lightweight plastic which is super easy to clean if baby has an accident while in use. You just take a damp cloth or wash cloth and wipe it clean - I usually follow up with a disinfecting wipe as well. It takes AAA batteries and the cover is easy to open from the underside of the scale. I really like the length measurement tape as well as the scale itself - it is stored in one of the ends and can be unrolled for measurements. It's a regular measuring tape coated in flexible material and feels like it will hold up against multiple uses. The feet of the scale have anti-slip silicone tips and it feels solidly placed. The LCD is clear and easy to read - the numbers are large enough to be seen across the room. The screen is backlit with white. It's simple to change between your specific unit of measurement and can weigh in pounds, kilos and ounces. I've done several tests to see if the weight readings are consistent (they are) and they also match my regular bathroom scale, so it seems accurate. The scale holds up to 55 pounds of weight which means this scale can be used for quite a long amount of time with your kiddos (or pets). I like and appreciate the auto-shutoff. It's nice to know that even if I walk out of the room when I'm done, it won't just stay on forever.

This scale is spot on! I bought this to get baby back to solely breastfeeding instead of having to supplement with pumping and needed to see how much baby was gaining after each feed to make sure baby was finally getting enough milk with a good latch after tongue and lip tie revision and I weighed baby the day I got it and baby weighed the exact same on this scale as at our weight check in the pediatrician office! I am recommending this to anyone I know in need of a scale to make sure baby is gaining enough or needing to do so for weighted feeds!
