08-03-2026so let’s just get right to it. It was an odd item to order, but for some reason I wanted it. I thought maybe it would help with DIY projects around the house and getting bumps and bruises and all the tight spaces. Which, let me clarify, it does. The only reason it gets four stars is because it’s uncomfortable to wear. I normally wear compression shirts under a dirty shirt while I’m working on the house. The ones that I wear, I typically don’t realize that I’m wearing, but do a great job of wicking away the sweat. Also helps keep insulation and everything else out of your pants. This product though is itchy and tight because of the padding. Because of this, I got the next size up, but it still does not fit comfortably in the material is scratchy. You get what you pay for for this one, but I still give it four stars because there’s not a whole lot of other products out there like this, especially for the low price. The size was almost spot on, but we all like a little give so if anything they should add a little more room. Even though it’s compression, it shouldn’t come untucked every time I bend over. Overall, I would still recommend it’s a decent product just be wary of the details above.

08-03-2026At this stage of my life, I need protection from vines and shrubs more than I do from linebackers, and this shirt handles the job just fine. The padding works well and gives a nice layer of confidence when I'm wrestling with yard work instead of small forwards. The fit was true to size and it is competitively priced. My only nitpick is that it’s hand wash only, which feels a little dramatic for something that’s supposed to get beat up outdoors. Otherwise, solid protection and comfortable to wear.

He said the padding covers all the important spots and makes getting hit feel more like a “polite tap” instead of a “full-body apology needed.”The fit is snug, so definitely size up. The mesh panels keep him from overheating, which he claims is “the only reason I survived practice.” He also told me very clearly not to throw it in the washer unless I want to buy him another one, so handwashing it is.Good protection, comfortable, and apparently mom-approved and college-athlete-approved.
