Sound quality is clear and strong with good vocal presence, especially for live singing or spoken word. It handles background noise decently for this price range, and it’s compatible with most mixers, amps, and audio interfaces that use XLR inputs. The 15ft cable is long enough for stage use or flexible podcast setups, and it doesn’t feel flimsy or prone to tangling. If you're looking for an affordable, dependable mic kit that works right out of the box, this Bowens mic delivers—especially great for beginners, hobbyists, or budget-conscious setups.
Such great microphone comes packaged so great in double boxes plus the shipping box as well. Very professional quality.
The best microphone for a great price used it for to party’s at a venue this past weekend worked amazing wide rage. Case is not good only thing zipper broke after first use.
Not a bad sounding microphone for the price. It's good as an all around utility mic for fill in. The quality was good enough for some guitar amp miking. Without any feed back at moderate volumes in a live use situation. IN live use mics take a beating, so for the cost you won't feel bad if it is lost or broken. It also did alright with some bass drum use. It's not as sensitive as more expensive microphones. But you are not paying as much either. The case is metal, not plastic. So it has a little bit of weight to it. For the most part professional microphones do not have an on on/off switch. But this mic does. I just put a piece of tape over it because inevitably it gets turned off somehow. Not always immediately noticeable if you are miking for example, drums. Suddenly you realize there is a low snare volume, check the mic and somehow it got turned off. So just put a piece of electrical tape over the switch.Another nice thing about the mic is that it is a standard XLR connection, not hard wired into the mic. And it includes a 15 foot XLR cable AND a XLR to 1/4 inch adapter, case and wind foam. So it's all in all a nice little package for the bucks. If you don't expect to much from the output quality, it's good additional microphone to have handy.
This is a pretty decent inexpensive microphone. It's worked fine for band practices at home. I think I could use it as a spare mic at some events where random folks need to make an announcement or something else. Not the same as an SM58, but for the price I think one would expect that. Haven't used it many times but seems fine for home studio stuff or basic needs.
Great deal, and works excellent!
This is a fine microphone for the price point. The metal housing gives it a nice feel, and the audio pick-up was good, clear, and consistent.Unfortunately, I quickly learned that the on/off switch was defective. I was using this microphone with a mixer, so I could turn off the audio channel, but a working on/off switch would be preferable, of course.
Excellent sounding Microphone. Really good value for the money. Comes with a lot of different accessories making it possible to use either, a 3 pin male plug or a regular guitar sized plug. I bought this for a friend to connect to a 15 watt Fender acoustic amp. One that allows him to plug a guitar and mic into it. Even with a low power Amp, the microphone came through loud and clear. It works great. So, for basic you can't beat it. My friend is using it as part of a PA system to teach Bible classes. Just connect the cord to the mic, the cord to the amp, make sure the switch is on, on both the mic and amp, adjust the volume accordingly. Nothing could be easier to use.
