08-03-2026I saw these on Vine and I wanted to see if they could be suitable replacements for the tyvek painters coveralls. Can’t judge sizing because the only offer on Vine was for XL which is way too large for me, but none the less functional. They are fairly easy to put on and fasten, even with gloves. Obviously the protection is meant for medical use, but it’s enough to protect clothing from paint and paint from clothing lint. And they do seem pretty lint free which is good.A full tyvek coverall at the local big box is $7.50 and these come in at about $5 a piece. These gowns probably won’t stop as much as a tyvek suit (chemicals or ultra fine particulate), but since they are easier to put on, and a little cheaper, I’d say they are a viable option. Obviously these gowns won’t hug your body the way a suit would, but you can’t have your cake and eat it too. Putting on and taking off a suit is annoying.
