This is a GREAT thermometer. I didn't realize it, but there's a magnet so it sticks to the refrigerator which is a bonus to me. It works well and quick! I've been on the hunt for a digital thermometer but didn't want to pay a high price and figured I could get a quality one at a reasonable price. This is that thermometer!!!

Works really well and is pretty accurate. I am using it on my new griddle to check for hot & cold spots. Also will use it for meat and other items. Small, compact and easy to read display.

This seems to be an easy and reliable thermometer to use, read, clean. It's handy when I need it and the probe folds up and out of the way when I store it in a drawer. The thermometer registers quickly and has been durable and I have not had to replace any batteries yet. I think it reads accurately the temperatures.

Great thermometer fairly accurate wish they had different colors

I did realize how large this would be in my hand, though that isn’t a complaint! The numbers are super easy to read straight on, at an angle they kind of disappear. For being under $10, this was a great deal. It has the standard pork, chicken, beef cooked tempatures printed on the back which was a nice surprise! The magnet is decent and it sticks to my stove without sliding down and seems pretty sturdy and durable. The temp screen does have a backlight to it, which is probable why it’s a little more difficult to read from an angle, I think that would be the only downside to this thermometer. It reads temps pretty quickly after insertion and beats a mechanical thermometer in this area. I have not tested the waterproof aspect and I wont do it intentionally, but if there is a moment that does, I will come back to update the review on. It also has two rubber pads on the backside to prevent scratching if you decide to mount it on your appliances using the magnet inside.

This thermometer is AWESOME! I purchased this because my very old meat thermometer finally kicked the bucket and I wanted a similar style. The display turns on simply by pulling the probe out for use. Display is large and easy to read (even without my glasses!) It's magnetic for easy storage on the fridge or right on the oven! And as far as I can tell, it's VERY precise. Definitely a great little handheld thermometer for food temp paranoid people like me!
