08-03-2026I own an android media box and it already has a very good remote but wanted another remote with a keyboard that also backlit for night time.Positives:- Nice size/shape and comfortable to hold.- Keys are not too clicky when pressing buttons but still feel solid and firm unlike other remotes i've had.- Nice and accurate when in use.- What i like about air mouse remotes is when needing to use the on screen mouse rather than hold down arrow keys on traditional remotes with air mouse style remotes you can just aim it wherever you want with no button pressing and waiting around. (think of a wii remote)- Keyboard on back in addition to the light was important to me, having a keyboard makes it so much easier rather than using on screen keyboard. Saves so much time.Negatives:- When i press the button to turn on backlight it stays on about 3 seconds then goes off- When turning remote from one side to the other side, the other side goes out to save battery, problem is if like me you view you're remote from an angle and not straight down you will find the backlight just keeps going off. The only way i could get it to stay on before it switched itself off was to keep it flat, it seems the sensor inside is too sensitive and just ruins the product.When i press the button for backlight i expect it to just stay on until i turn it off, but no it does that on it's own and only after a few seconds and makes the backlight pointless. Why have a backlight button when it's useless and turns itself off anyway? surely i should be able to turn on/off as and when and not have it go off at it's own will, for me the whole point of the button is to press and for light to stay on until i press button again to turn off. For me this ruined the product and i am sending it back because of this as it was going off more than staying on.- Some of the keys do nothing on my android box yet same key on original remote works fine, plus as you can't reprogram the keys except for the 4 colour buttons and the power button makes some of the buttons on the remote redundant.- Product also looked like a previously used item as it was clearly opened previously you only had to look at the box where you open it to see if clearly had previously been opened by the state of it.Conclusion:I really was looking forward to this air mouse but with a backlight that does not stay on, why bother have a button if it just goes off on it's own accord and when in use? makes the backlight pointless and this for me ruined the product and made it no better than a non backlit air mouse. For the reasons outlined above i cannot recommend this mouse and would recommend looking elsewhere.

Delayed delivery followed by a product that does not work as advertised I had a problem with the Disney app. It would keep crashing out right off the bat. I updated the firmware which actually removed the Disney app. Believe it or not, you cannot just reinstall it through the Android app store. No, you have to download a special app installer AND a special apk for the Disney app. And when you follow the instructional video it is outdated for the new firmware! And following the instructions they sent didn't work either.And to make matters worse, their "support", if you can call it that, is slow to respond, sometimes taking days.Finally, I cannot get this thing to reset, sot hey expect me to send it back with my passwords and account info still on it.DO NOT BUY!!!! Spend the extra money and get something decent and with better support AND works with the app store with easier installs!
