Used this to hold my window visors on my vehicle that came off during a car wash. So far so good!
This stuff is very thin. You cannot put anything heavy on it at all. I was reading all the great reviews about how people stuck car door stuff back on, and that kind of items.Well let me tell you.... It will not even hang my solar outdoor lights. I hung them all up and within twenty four hours, more than half or down.... I added more tape, put them back up and the next day, same thing they were down plus some more were down. I feel like not only is this a waste of my money but it has been a waste of my time. I went and bought some white command strips and have had better luck with them. I wanted black because I have black gutters I am sticking this stuff to.
Sticks well to properly cleaned surfaces. I used this for replacing old foam tape on car window vent visors.Keeping it form 5 stars- the backing is difficult to remove as there is no edge to get under- I ended up using a razor blade to slice between the sticky and the backing to get a point to pull to remove the strip. The initial bond is good, but not the best I've used and seems to get better in a day or 2, so anything with tension will probably need additional securing until it cures. I ended up using masking tape to brace it overnight as some smaller pieces were giving up hold/ feeling loose despite repeated pressing.
It works but doesn’t handle temperature changes very well. Used this for a few different projects. Works good for indoor projects. Tried it to hold my dash cam on my windshield after it was replaced. Did the pressure roller and let it set a day. Put my dash cam on and it lasted about a week before it fell off. Tried again and same thing. Only thing I can think of is the temperature inside the car is causing it to get soft and drop my cam.
I had a set of LED lights that kept coming off of the table they were attached to and someone on a Discord channel recommended this VHB tape. I picked up a roll, used it to attach the lights, and now they are not going anywhere! It's easy to work with and STICKS. I keep some extra around now for future needs. An easy recommend.
This tape hold great we used it to hold led light strips better on our electric scooter
Great stuff used to help hold a SSD in place in my computer works good
Worked great on re atachen my rain shield on my truck.
