I love this! I love peaches and peach flavored items. This is literally the only zero calorie peach soda I could find. I’m pretty sure it is the only one made. I think it is delicious. Yes it is sweet, but all sodas are. It is not candy sweet as some sodas also are. They do not sell this where I live, so I took a risk and ordered it. I have to say that Amazon was the seller and the shipper and they did an excellent job packing it. I did not lose one can, which is very challenging when shipped canned liquids. All in all, I could not be happier! Well, I could if Zevia sold this in stores where I live. But other than that, it is the best!
This is a pretty sweet soda, even though it’s Stevia it’s intense. But I do like it, I just drink part of a can, though.Seems like it would be good for a party drink to share with friends.I bet it would make an excellent vanilla float.
I was afraid the new salted caramel flavor would just be a more expensive Zevia Cream Soda, a flavor of theirs I THOUGHT I would love but that just always tastes flat and unsatisfying to me whenever I try to "bond" with it.No.The Salted Caramel is in a whole new universe of flavor. I would describe it this way:Zevia Cream Soda = the sweet watery tears of dieting scented with the fumes of "Cream" as created by someone who has never tasted a creamy thing in their life.Zevia Salted Caramel = Liquid butterscotch candy minus the guilt but plus the dopamine.Yes, it's a bit heavyhanded on the sweetness and I find I enjoy it more slightly diluted but that's ok with me because it just means one can goes further and the flavor is still super potent.
Soo let me start by saying I really didn't think I'd like this at all. I actually went a whole month without drinking soda but man it was hard. I figured if I got something like this it would take care of that craving for soda. This was definitely a winner!! I got the salted caramel because I mean who can turn down salted caramel in the fall... It's soooo good!! The smell is a reminder of fall as well as the taste also. The value is worth it to, I mean under $5 for 12 cans you can't beat it. If you like trying new drinks while cutting out the carbs and sugar I say give this a try. I'm already looking at different flavors. Thanks Amazon for another awesome buy!!
I have enjoyed this so far. Not as strong of a vanilla smell/flavor as I'd prefer, but still good.As far as being pricey, it isn't much different than the regular price of the big 2 at the grocery store.Definitely will try other flavors.
Tastes like Pepsi or Coke with stevia and it doesn't have the dark caramel color, it’s clear. If you're accustomed to that taste, like I am, you’ll likely enjoy it. Since I no longer consume high fructose corn syrup or sugar, I've adapted to this flavor. Plus, it contains caffeine, which is a nice bonus. However, if you're not familiar with alternative sweeteners, it might not be for you.
Our family has been drinking Zevia for years now. We enjoy the many flavors, and especially like that it’s sugar free and sweetened with stevia. There are no artificial sweeteners in these, so we enjoy drinking these everyday. They offer a wonderful alternative to only consuming water, and trying the limited edition flavors is especially fun. When my husband told me that he had ordered this flavor, I thought that it would be awful. I was pleasantly surprised though, and we have actually reordered them. I am quite pleased with this flavor and want to thank Zevia for making something unique and fun to drink.
Good & Gather made the perfect caffeinated sparkling water, but they've all been discontinued. That's how I got here. First, I like Stevia as a sweetener. I use Stevia regularly, but this soda is rough. I tried 3 flavors. They all taste pretty much the same. The flavor is medicinal, probably the Stevia. The execution of this is slightly off. Still my choice of sugar alternatives is Stevia. Something I look for in carbonated beverages is zero-calorie, zero-carb and caffeinated. Not just before or after a workout but also while I'm working.I wanted this to be good. I tried 3 different flavors. Cola, Vanilla Cola & Dr. Zevia. They're all sweet, with a medicinal flavor. But sweet alone, shouldn't be the bar. It also seems like caffeinated sparkling water, aside from Sparkling Ice+ caffeine, is a thing of the past. Which is really disappointing. This is my last hope for something healthy with caffeine, bubbles and flavor. It didn't have to be great. I would have been happy with okay plus. But this adds some caffeine to your life if you can get past the taste. The company has the right idea, and everything needed to make a great soda alternative and Caffinated sparkling water beverages. This is only a Review of the product, not the delivery. I'm not rating these based on how they got delivered. Those people have a hard job, this isn't their fault. The boxes use a weak cardboard & the cans are too thin. So regardless of the boxes arriving wet with bent or broken cans. One was even sliced open. What's that? I'm just talking about the product itself. If you manage to get a can, that's not leaking in the refrigerator, until it's cold enough to drink. Be prepared for something sweet and lacking any real discernible flavor. The Vanilla Cola might be one of the worst things I've drank on purpose. Is it possible I could get used to the medicinal flavor? Maybe out of desperation for the stevia & caffeine. There are several great sparkling water beverages on the market but all lack caffeine. They keep discontinuing caffeinated sparkling water. And 35-45mg of caffeine is perfect. This feels like a beta test. Still I might try to get use to the Vanilla Cola out of desperation. Yeah, it has a medicinal taste but I can drink things pretty fast. I just want the clean caffeine (green coffee beans) and Stevia in this anyway. I'll update if I decide to keep drinking these. But there's still an opportunity here that's being missed. The color is clear, which is fine. I don't need artificial colors. The sugar content is zero. It's made with Stevia. The fact that this company has access to a facility where they can make Stevia soda but managed to fail so spectacularly is simultaneously impressive and disappointing. I think that covers all the review tags. Finally, if I were making this, I would try to improve the flavor & make the Caffinated one 45mg or 50mg of caffeine. And 100% Make a lemon-lime with the same amount of carbonation as sprite (I miss Sprite) Right now, the caffine varies depending on which flavor you choose. Dr Zevia has 42mg, the Cola & Vanilla Cola have 45mg and they make a Mountain Zevia with 55mg of caffeine. Other flavors like Ginger Ale have zero caffeine. That's fine if the flavor is on point. I haven't drank soda in a while, but I think it's similar. Still why not use the same amount for all the Caffinated flavors. If Zevia fixed issues like the flavor, a little more carbonation (I miss Sprite) and the thin cans. They'd be a unicorn, that make the healthy soda or caffeinated sparkling water beverage! This isn't necessarily a negative review. I want Zevia to go back to the drawing board and do better. I want them to succeed. I want this to be great. So I can enjoy a caffeinated, zero-carb Soda or sparkling water without sugar, sucralose or aspartame again. Right now, my only other choice is Sparkling Ice + caffeine. Besides that, caffeinated sparkling water looks done. All I'm saying is Zevia should & could be better. I'm rooting for Zevia. I'll update this, if I continue drinking the Vanilla Cola version. Maybe I'll get used to the medicinal taste? 3/5 for effort, caffeine content and ingredients.
