08-03-2026Why did you pick this product vs others?:I recently tried out these fishing hooks, and wow, they are great for my fishing trips! Made from high carbon steel, they're super sharp and corrosion-resistant, so they're great for both freshwater and saltwater. The offset circle design with double barbs is awesome—it keeps the bait secure and helps with hook-up rates, especially with live bait. I’ve caught bass and catfish. Plus, the pack sizes are generous (50 or 100 hooks), offering great value. Highly recommend for any angler!

08-03-2026I ordered the #8 baitholder hooks. As a hook, these are great! They are sharp and have caught plenty of bluegill thus far. My issue is that these are advertised as baitholder hooks. The barbs on mine are minimal and do not have the sharpness that I would expect by looking at the product picture. While rubbing my finger along the hook, you can feel there are nubs but they are too small and dull to function as barbs to hold a worm on my size hook. I have seen no difference in these holding worms on better than my regular hooks. I do like the case that these come in as it is small and compact.

08-03-2026These are great quality hooks - I've been keeping my eyes open for baitholder style Octopus hooks for a while and these do a great job. I used them fishing with live red worms last week and they keep the worms on really well. I'd imagine these would work perfectly for surf fishing with lugworms and other soft baits. These are the perfect size hooks and they perform well. We caught a number of smallmouth bass and these didn't fail.

These were quite a bit smaller than expected but checking their description it was accurate.Just make sure to double check their measurements for what you’re expecting to receive.Hooks are sharp and strong for their size. Price was reasonable for the quality and quantity.
