Works well for temporary repairs, easy to apply. Useful to try different hem lengths before you permanently hem. Fairly strong adhesive and I used the 2/5 inch wide to shorten hem on medium weight jeans that are too long for me - and this fabric tape held the hem securely. You definitely want to remove from clothing before washing, and it removes easily without leaving behind adhesive. Current price of a 2 pack for about $8 seems reasonable
Works good
I used this Etnrhp double stick tape to shorten an old pair of slacks that has become too long since I stopped wearing heels. The fix was simple, just double up the bottom hem.I turned the slacks inside out, accurately measured the amount to shorten them with a sewing gage. I just turned up the hem and added a quarter inch. I used common pins below the hem. I then was able to turn down the pinned hem, added the tape to it and patted it together. It worked better than expected. The hardest part was getting the tape straight. You can tell by my description that I don’t have a sewing machine, mend by hand but only if I really need to.These slacks are old but in good shape and not worth the expense to have them professionally tailored. I’ve washed them three times since on a wash and wear cycle in cold water. I’ve put them in the drier under low heat in the wrinkle free cycle for about five minutes then hang them up to finish drying. The tape has held. I press it with my fingers after removing the slacks from the dryer to reset the tape. For me, with limited talent, equipment and patience, this was an easy, inexpensive fix.
easy to use but very sticky so make sure you have it in the right spot. It can be peeled off but that leaves some stickiness on the item. But I used it in my daughters pants I was trying to hem them temporarily until she grows into them but this is much easier. I haven’t washed them yet. But I also have a lot of other ideas for crafts with this stuff.
Not at all sturdy enough for the lightweight fabric I was using
Solid, strong & holds its shape with liquids. Perfect size. It even holds more than what it looks like. I'd definitely buy again.
Worked great
Works perfectly with making bows.
