This drone turned out to be way better than I expected. The setup was quick, and the controls felt smooth even for a first-time user. The 4K camera captures clear and stable footage, and the GPS makes it easy to keep track of where it’s flying. I like that it’s under 249g, so I don’t have to deal with registration issues. The battery life is solid — I get close to 50 minutes total using both batteries. It’s lightweight, quiet, and handles wind pretty well for its size. Great value for anyone who just wants to enjoy flying and capture some nice shots.
As a first-time drone owner, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Ameta S20 Pro—but it turned out to be a fantastic introduction to the world of flying tech. I’ll admit, I was reluctant to watch the intro video, but I’m glad I did. It was surprisingly helpful and made the setup process smooth and stress-free.Once airborne, the drone was impressively easy to control. The learning curve felt gentle, and I quickly gained confidence navigating it through the air. The camera quality was solid—clear and crisp enough to make me wish I’d installed a micro SD card for that first flight (definitely on my checklist for next time). One of the most reassuring moments came after a minor mishap: I accidentally flew it into a small tree. To my surprise, the drone powered right back up without issue. That kind of resilience is a huge plus, especially for beginners.Overall, the Ameta S20 Pro has made my entry into drone flying both fun and frustration-free. It’s user-friendly, durable, and delivers good visuals—everything I hoped for in my first drone.
Packaged nicely, really light but very capable product. It is able to take off, land, and control as expected. Lots of features to learn but basics can be learned quickly.Great value!
I’ve been enjoying my Ameta S20 Pro since it arrived. The camera is sharp and clear, and the GPS return-to-home gives me peace of mind when the battery runs low. With two batteries, I get plenty of flight time, and the Follow Me and Orbit modes make it easy to get cool, cinematic shots. Super simple to fly, even for beginners, but with enough features to keep it exciting. Definitely worth it for the price.
Good surprises:Comes with a carrying case, spare propellers, and two batteries.Feels very sturdy: survived multiple bumps into walls (oops) and still flies perfectly.Flies well and responds properly to the controller.Decent image quality for this price range.Needs some adjustments :The controller uses disposable batteries instead of a built-in rechargeable one.The drone struggles a bit in the wind.Significant video latency with my older smartphone. Tested with two phones: on the newer one, there was almost no delay, while the old phone made the video feed unusable for piloting. Conclusion:A very good drone for the price, with a few areas that could be improved. Still worth 4 stars.
This Ameta 4K camera drone has been an absolute thrill to fly—and a true value for the price. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell every detail was thoughtfully designed.Equipped with an advanced GPS positioning system, high-speed performance with minimal vibration, and features like altitude hold and waypoint flight, I captured stable aerial footage easier than I ever expected. Thanks to the included dual batteries, I enjoyed extended flight time with fewer interruptions for recharging. The 4K camera produces impressively sharp and clear video—perfect for landscapes, family events, or just casual flying. Even in light wind, the drone held its position steadily and responded accurately to every command.I also appreciated the included carrying case, which makes transport and storage both convenient and secure. What stood out most was its perfect balance of user-friendly controls and advanced functions. Whether you're new to drones or diving into aerial photography, this model turns the learning process into pure fun.I’ve already recommended it to friends looking for a reliable, feature-rich drone that doesn’t break the bank. Highly recommended!
The drone weighs very light and uses thin wires. I think this design is intended to reduce weight. It comes with eight replaceable wings for convenience when replacing damaged ones. As a new user of drones, I quickly understood and mastered its usage. The manual probably serves this purpose. Of course, there's also a charging cable included, using a USB-C interface for convenient battery charging. Two rechargeable batteries come with it, each with a capacity of 3000mAh. I'm unsure how long they can power the drone, but let's give it a try and hope for longer flight times. There's an odd thing: no external charger was provided, meaning you have to stop flying and connect both the drone and the batteries to a wall outlet or power bank for charging. This design isn't ideal.
I’m completely new to drones, and the Ameta S20 Pro made learning so much easier than I expected. The setup was quick, and the instructions were clear enough for a beginner like me. It can take off with one button, fly with beginner mode, and the GPS return works every single time.I had a small issue connecting to the app at first, so I reached out to Ameta’s customer support. They replied within a few hours with detailed steps and even followed up afterward to make sure everything worked. That level of care really impressed me.If you’re just getting into drone flying, this one is perfect — easy to learn, safe to fly, and backed by great customer service.
The Ameta S20 Pro is a solid beginner’s drone. It is a good way to learn about drones and decide if you like flying them. If you end up liking drones don’t expect that this will be your last drone as you will want something better, and it will be more expensive. The good:- Very good entry price point. I paid $129.99 at Amazon- Very easy to set up and start flying- It is a GPS drone- Nicely written user manual. This many times is lacking in other inexpensive drones- Phone app is well designed and intuitive- Includes several intelligent shooting options which provide video effects such as Far Away, Rocket, Panorama and Time-lapse- The drone knows the take-off GPS location and returns to that location when the Return to Home button is pressed. This is an extremely useful feature, especially for beginners. This is a key feature that was missing in the Ameta S20 Lite I previously had- Supports micro-SD card for photos and videos. Photo and video quality are ok for a hobbyist but not professional quality. The not so good:- Batteries can only be charged in the drone. On the S20 Lite the batteries had a charging port on the battery itself. I could be charging a battery while flying the drone. Not sure why this was eliminated.- Batteries take a long time to charge- Video is 4K but only at 20fps. Video many times have a Jello effect and is not as sharp as the DJI Mini 4K.- Even the smallest wind will push this drone around.- No collision avoidanceIf you are new to drones and want to get one that is packed with features such as 4K camera, GPS and Intelligent Shooting, all at a reasonable price, then this drone is a perfect for you. If you have the means and are willing to spend around $300 on a drone that is considerably better, then consider the DJI Mini 4K.
This drone has been an awesome addition to my tech collection. The 4K camera quality is surprisingly clear, and the GPS features make flying much easier, even for someone who isn’t an expert. The brushless motors keep the flight smooth and quiet, and the altitude hold feature helps a lot when capturing steady shots. The best part is the long flight time, having up to 50 minutes between the two batteries gives plenty of time to explore and get great footage. It’s lightweight, easy to pack, and simple to learn for beginners. Overall, this drone offers excellent value and performance, and it’s a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable and fun flying experience.
