The balanced, neutral tone lets your voice sounds exactly as it should—rich, authentic, and expressive. With a wide dynamic range, this studio microphone captures every nuance, preserving the soul and power of your voice
  • Crystal-Clear Sound Capture: Equipped with a cardioid polar pattern, the XLR microphone precisely captures your voice while minimizing ambient noise, delivering cleaner, focused audio. The built-in foam cover inside the capsule reduces plosives and sibilance to keep harsh sounds at bay, resulting in a smooth, pure vocal signal that cuts through with clarity. Additionally, its anti-rolling mic grille prevents accidental movement to reduce unwanted noise

Even when paired with lower-gain mixers or audio interfaces, the karaoke microphone achieves loud, impactful sound without aggressive boosting
  • Comprehensive Accessory Kit: This microfono comes fully equipped for instant use. The 5-meter XLR cable supports greater stage flexibility, while the mic clip enables secure stand mounting. A hook-and-loop strap keeps cables tidy, and the premium faux leather pouch provides dust- and moisture-resistant storage for the podcast microphone. I purchased this microphone to use at live events. When it arrived it was well packed in the box. It came with a mic clip and adapter, xlr cable, storage bag and a cable strap. The microphone itself feels a little heavier and is a touch bigger than the sm58, but that is a good thing. It feels solid. The microphone was clear and crisp, had plenty of gain and during my event I did not have any feedback from the monitors. My eq was relatively flat. Hopefully this will last over the long haul on the road, and if it does I will be purchasing more in the future. Only problem is the way the xlr cable is packed so tight that when you stretch it out it doesn't lay straight, but it just needs trained to be coiled.

**“We’ve tested the PM-25 dynamic vocal mic and found it to be very well constructed with excellent sound quality. We’ve now deployed three of them in place of SM58s, and they sound awesome—clear, punchy, and reliable. The build feels solid, and the cardioid pattern does a great job isolating vocals in live settings. For worship and rehearsal use, it’s a fantastic value and a worthy alternative to more expensive mics.”*

I’ve been testing out the Phenyx Pro PM-25 dynamic microphone with my karaoke setup, and I’m beyond impressed with the quality. In terms of sound, I’ve found the mic produces a very natural, rich vocal, warm, and clear, without sounding harsh. As far as I can tell, the cardioid pickup pattern is working well enough to isolate our voices, keeping any background noise to a minimum. I also like that we don’t ‘pop’ because there’s a built-in foam filter. This is definitely not a flimsy mic too. It has a bit of weight to it, and connects easily via the included 5m XLR cable. That’s about 16.4 ft, which is more than long enough for most home or stage setups. It arrived with everything you need in the box: mic clip, cable, hook-and-loop strap, and a faux leather storage pouch. The latter has come in handy for keeping dust and moisture away when not in use.Five star performance from us, as it’s a good looking, solid, reliable wired microphone that delivers quality well above its price point. In our humble performer opinion, it would be perfect for karaoke and public speaking, as well as live performances.

I got this because I wanted to do so voice sound effects for a project, but the plug doesn't fit my PC. A friend offered to get me an adaptor to make it work, but I was also aware that a volunteer group for the elderly that my mum goes to does Karaoke events, so I let them have it instead. They reported back that it was a much better mic than the one that came with the karaoke machine, but more importantly, that machine one came with one mic, and now - with two - the old folks can sing duets.

I'm truly impressed with this microphone! So far I have no complaints! Everything included is solid. I like the cable as it is decent length and has a quality professional feel. The included clip is a great touch because not all clips are created equally. The bag for carrying the microphone is great just because you don't have to worry about the mic being totally exposed to the elements! Now the microphone build itself is very sturdy. I greatly appreciate the anti-roll grill! The metal body has real weight to it. In comparison to the Shure SM58 the PM-25 feels comparable in my opinion. I was not able to do a direct comparison with all, however, I have used the SM58, Behringer XM8500, and Samson R21 for several years. I appreciate the way the PM-25 sounds. I first tested it connected directly to a powered speaker with no EQ adjustments. I found the mic to be fairly responsive as described. It did not require me to boost the gain too much in order to have decent output. I compared it with a PTAU-2 wireless microphone just to have an idea of how much gain the PM-25 required. Also, using a mixer I was able to directly compare with an SM58. There was no discernable difference in output with both channels set at unity gain. When listening to the PM-25 in comparison to the PTAU-2 Hand held the microphones sounded nearly indistinguishable. When testing against the SM58, the SM58 was slightly brighter than the PM-25. However, this is absolutely minor and at this price point is in no way a deal breaker! It is practically a selling point! This mic is definitely worth the price! It is definitely a great value for the price. I didn't have any issues with handling noises. While present it did not make the PM-25 unusable. I didn't drop test it, but I'm very sure the PM-25 is sturdy enough to take a beating! All in all a solid selection that rivals big names and is more than comparable.

I was impressed with this microphone before I even got it hooked up. Very well made and heavy duty feeling. The included mic clip is a good one and also has the stand adapter so you can use it on standard 5/8" mic stands or adapt it to a 3/8" mount. The cable that comes with it makes me happy. Usually, when a microphone comes with a cable, it's 10ft or less with 1/4" TS connector, feels cheap and doesn't last. The cable that came with this mic is 16.5ft long, has a male XLR connector on the mixer end and feels like a nice quality cable that will last. Really good connectors on the cable. It has a good weight to it. I'd say slightly heavier than most similar dynamic microphones, but very comfortable to handle....with no handling noise. Very clean sounding with a good, natural bottom end with clean lids and highs. It does great at separating and keeping background noise to a minimum. This is now going to be my go to corded microphone.

This microphone performs far better than I expected for the price. The build quality feels solid in the hand- it has some weight to it without being bulky, and the finish looks durable. The included cable is long enough for stage or studio setups, and the clip and storage bag are nice touches that make it feel like a complete kit.Sound-wise, it delivers clear vocals with good presence while keeping background noise under control thanks to the cardioid pickup pattern. I’ve used it both for casual recording and live singing, and it handles both situations reliably without feedback issues. The tone is warm and balanced, which makes it versatile for speaking as well as music. What stands out most is the consistency. It doesn’t require constant adjustment to get a clean sound, and it feels dependable enough for regular use. Overall, it’s a straightforward, well-designed microphone that does exactly what it promises.

This is the PM 25 model of the Phenyx pro dynamic vocal microphone range. It looks a little like the Shure SM 58.It comes with a microphone clip, a storage pouch and a five meter XLR cable.Plus a thoughtfully provided Velcro style tetherAll you need to get going. Apart from something to plug it into! It's all metal construction make it feel rugged and solid; for example the capsule cover screws onto what looks like a brass thread. It's a good weight in the hand.I've been using it in the rehearsal studio in preference to the microphones that are provided there. This works better than the stock items, to my ears the sound quality is better. The included XLR cable is just the right length to get to the PA desk, the mic clip feels solid and strong and holds the mic firmly in place. At this price point, seems both good quality and good value.

I recently had the opportunity to test the Phenyx Pro PM-25 wired microphone. My previous experience with Phenyx Pro has been exclusively with their wireless systems, so I was eager to see how their wired option would perform. As expected, Phenyx Pro continues to impress with their packaging. The PM-25 comes with everything you need to get started right out of the box: the microphone itself, an XLR cable, a mic clip, and a storage pouch.Rather than testing the microphone in a controlled studio environment, I opted for a real-world scenario. I lead a 20-piece big band jazz ensemble, and we were performing at an open-air park, with the audience seated approximately 100 yards from the bandstand. I connected the included XLR cable to our mixing console and used the PM-25 during the first set to address the audience. The audio was crystal clear. Although there was some wind pickup—understandable given the outdoor setting and the lack of a windscreen—the clarity of the microphone was otherwise excellent. For the second half of the performance, I repositioned the PM-25 to mic our guitar amplifier, placing it about six inches from the speaker. The sound quality was solid, and I found it comparable to that of my Shure SM58—an industry standard.Overall, the PM-25 delivers impressive performance for its price. It's a budget-friendly microphone with sound quality that exceeds expectations for its category. If you're looking for an affordable and reliable mic, the Phenyx Pro PM-25 is definitely worth considering.

I plugged this straight into my audio interface to record some scratch vocals. It's a hefty, metal microphone; it feels very solid in the hand. The sound quality is perfectly respectable. It handles plosives ('p' and 'b' sounds) quite well, even without a pop filter, and it rejects a lot of background noise from the room, focusing just on my voice. The included cable is very long, which is useful, though it feels a bit basic. The clip and bag are standard fare. For vocals, it's clear. For miking a guitar amp, it captured the tone without sounding harsh. It's a straightforward, no-frills dynamic mic that does the job. I didn't experience any unwanted hum or noise.
