I’m so happy with this baby bathtub! It’s lightweight, easy to fold, and doesn’t take up much space — perfect for small bathrooms or travel. The material feels sturdy and safe, and my newborn is very comfortable during bath time. I love that it’s deep enough to hold water without splashing everywhere, yet easy to drain afterward. The pink color looks adorable in our bathroom, and overall the quality is much better than I expected for the price. Definitely recommend it to all new moms!
This is an amazing bath to have for small spaces and portability. It’s great to be able to bring along to grandma’s or while traveling for a safe and clean option to give baby a quick bath. I love that it folds flat and can be tucked in a travel bag or in our small nursery storage. It was also fun to put in the yard and make a small splash pool for the yard. Fun and functional!
This is a good quality portable bathtub. Works great for travelling or camping. It is easy to assemble and easy to fold and keep it away, takes very little space once folded. Water stays inside, no leakeages were there. There is a drain hole which you can use for emptying the bathtub. Works well for toddlers, it wont work for smaller babies as there is no elevation or way to keep an infant laying higher than water.
I love how lightweight and easy this tub is to set up. It opens and folds down in seconds, and it doesn’t take up much room at all. My baby fits comfortably, and the material feels sturdy and safe. It’s great for everyday use and even better for traveling or keeping at the grandparents’ house. Super convenient, dries fast, and definitely worth it if you need a space-saving baby bath.
Full disclosure from your humble reviewer: I don't have a baby, not expecting one, that ship has sailed at my age. So, I'm not keyed into current trends or what influencers pedal (I don't do social media). Specifically, as a Vine member, I am presented with options for products to review, and choose those I feel could be useful in my life. (Also, I'm familiar with this brand, Bella's Friends. I've ordered other non-bath related products from them in the past, and they're excellent quality). I am a dog mom, and got this tub for use inside my own bathtub to bathe my dog.He has a skin condition that requires frequent bathing with vet-prescribed shampoo and Epsom salt soaks for his paws. Putting him directly in the main tub is not something he enjoys (tactile-wise); he doesn't like the feeling - so I wanted an alternative (for inside the tub) so he felt more 'comfortable' when his paws touched the bottom, and that was an 'enclosed area' like his bed. And it worked, he feels more secure and apt to get into this collapsible tub which he took to right away. A bonus for me is that all the mess, like the sand and dirt from his paws and underbelly, goes directly into this tub. Then, when I let out the water, it all goes directly down the drain and doesn't sit on the bottom of my actual tub. I live in a rental, and the bottom of the tub is coated in this non-slip material (picture sand-paper but softer) that catches (and contains) sediment like sand and any dirt he has on his paws, and it adheres to it! So I have to scrub that off, and it never looks clean (I know!) and why I never take a bath; I only shower. So using this tub alleviates that scouring part for me.Space-Saving & Travel-Friendly Design This tub is clever. My place isn't big, so anything that saves space helps. This bathtub folds flat to a super slim 14.6" x 7.9" x 2.6", making it easy to tuck away in a cabinet or slide under a bed for storage. (I don't put things under a bed, because the dog lies under there). But I just stand this up (folded) in my spare room and grab it every time I need it. It's lightweight (1.09 kg or 2.4 lbs), and portable. It folds up neatly (see the product photos), where you can pack it for a trip, or throw it in your bag to take to the pool, beach, camping, wherever. Easy-peasy.Stable, Comfy & Easy to Use After filling it up to check it out, I feel safe with this tub. It has a slip-resistant base and strengthened sides that really hold their shape—much better than other PVC tubs that become flimsy when filled. This means the tub feels stable and secure for bathing little ones or pets . The material is 'baby-safe PVC', and feels soft to the touch, so it's a comfy, more natural feeling versus a plastic container. And no, it doesn't leak. To let the water out, there's a side drain plug. The smooth surface means I can just wipe it clean in just seconds. It also dries quickly, or you can hang it up to air dry.Versatile Bathing Solutions & Other Uses ✨This tub is designed for bathing infants and toddlers, which I believe it's been thoroughly tested for and receives many positive 5-star reviews for. And while my main use for it is bathing my dog, it's pretty versatile for other things, like:Pet Washing (Other Small Animals): It's not just for dogs! If you have other small pets that need bathing, like cats (if they're agreeable!) or even larger rodents that get a bath, this tub would work well for them too, offering that secure, contained space. Feet Soak: If you ever needed a quick, localized foot bath for yourself, maybe with some Epsom salts after a long day, this tub would be a handy size without having to fill up your entire main tub.Handwashing Delicates: For those delicate laundry items that can't go in the machine, this tub would be great for a quick handwash. You can fill it, soak, wash, and then easily drain it wherever it's convenient.️Wash Basin for Camping/Outdoors: Because it's so portable and easy to move around, it would be useful as a temporary wash basin when camping, or for outdoor activities where you need to clean hands, dishes, or other items without access to a full sink.Soaking Small Items: Anything that needs soaking in water – maybe dirty garden tools, small toys that need a deep clean, or even just some fruit and veggies from the garden – it can serve as a temporary basin for that.Defrosting Freezer: When you defrost your freezer, you can place the tub underneath the freezer's drain to collect the water, or you can use it to hold bowls of hot water to help speed up the defrosting process. So as you can tell, the Bella’s Friends Baby Collapsible Bathtub, can be many things and has many uses. I recommend this quality, well-made, portable, collapsible tub for its practicality and design.
Our son and dil live in a home without a bathtub and have a 6 month old who has outgrown his baby tub. I saw this and took a chance and it ended up being perfect! It's large enough for his to splash around and lay in but small enough to fit into their not large shower space. It did smell quite bad when it arrived but a few hours outside cleared up that smell. It is easy to open and fill and comfortable for the baby and parents to bathe him in. Plus it seems sturdy so it won't be bowing in or falling outwards when baby decides to be a deep sea swimmer. Great design and very functional. If you don't have a tub, I recommend this. Good quality, great value, and perfect when a bath is needed but not available.
This is a quality product in terms of both build and utility. Once folded, this is very portable and is something I definitely bring with me on overnight road trips where I don't want to have to worry about the cleanliness of a tub. The sizing is pretty comfortable or a 2 year old and where extra supports are needed, the simple towel trick gets the job done.Design is intelligent and the drain hole is necessary as you can't easily lift and pour out all the water you would for a plastic tub.The material feels durable and so far with multiple uses, does not have messy build ups of gunk, soap residue, or other issues with proper rinsing each time. Dries well.Overall, highly recommend for anyone looking for portable tub or anyone who has limited space and needs something tucked away when not in use.
I recently started using this baby bathtub when my nephew visits us with his 1-year-old, and it has made bath time so much easier. I appreciate how quickly it unfolds and how simple it is to get it ready. The size feels just right for a little one who is still learning to enjoy bath time. My nephew’s baby seems comfortable in it and settles in without fuss. I like that it feels sturdy and does not wobble when filled with water. The base gives me confidence that the baby is safe while we help him wash up. It has also been convenient to move it around the house when needed. I find it especially helpful that it folds down so compactly after use. Storing it is effortless and it never feels like it takes up extra space. Cleaning it has been surprisingly quick and easy. I can wipe it down and have it dry in no time. The draining feature makes the whole process even simpler. We brought it along during a recent overnight trip and it fit perfectly with our luggage. It has become one of the items we always keep ready for when the baby comes over. Overall, this tub has made bath time smoother and far more enjoyable for everyone.
Wanted more from this one. Here is my breakdown of why I gave this bathtub a 3 1-star rating:ProsThe biggest pro is the reason I purchased this tub-there are no deep crevices where mold can grow in secret. This is important since the last tub I purchased ended up with mold in the crevices (gross!!). So, this tub is a huge win in this regard!Another pro is the tub’s foldability. It really is easy to collapse and fold up- so I can see this being a great travel tub for trips.Lastly, I really like the color. It is a calm blue color that is nice to look at.ConsUnfortunately, there are way more cons to this tub.The first con is that it is not very durable for a toddler who is moving around the tub or standing up. *She literally slips every single time she takes a bath!!!*The sides bowed out the first time I filled up the tub with my little one merely *sitting* in it. The tub does not stand perfectly upright as is pictured in the advertised photo. If your baby is on the move, watch out! The tub is easily bendable on the sides. The floor of the tub is textured and I am guessing the intention was to allow for grip to avoid slipping. Unfortunately, the textured floor does nothing for my 1 year old. While I understand the intention of the tub is to not have 1 year olds standing in them, the reality is that babies do move and stand up while bathing. My one year old was slipping all over the place when standing and I had to steady her every time she stood up. Our past tubs were more structured and inflated and so we did not have this issue.Crunchy and scrunchy mamas beware: this tub has a STRONG plastic smell. I am on day 2 of this tub and the smell is as strong as ever. The tub drains SLOWLY or NOT AT ALL without human assistance (such as tipping the tub over or encouraging drainage out the side where the drain is). So while I purchased this tub to avoid standing water in hidden crevices, this tub needs the water to be drained out manually which is a bummer! It’s nice as a Mom to be able to drain out the tub while getting the baby ready for bed.Wah wah. I wanted this one to work but it just doesn’t deliver. For the price, I expected more. My WORST purchase on Amazon (and I buy a lot on Amazon!). ! I would not buy this one again.
For what it’s meant for — a foldable, convenient travel bath — this is a winner and I'm giving it five stars. It folds and unfolds easily, no extra assembly needed, and no inflating like some other designs. It’s compact enough to pack in luggage but still roomy enough for young babies (who can sit up on their own) through to toddler age.The side valve makes draining quick, though since it’s not at the very bottom, you’ll need to tilt it to get the last bit of water out. The material feels decently thick for occasional use, and while the sides do expand slightly when filled, that’s expected for a non-rigid tub. Used inside a bath or shower, it works perfectly fine. This isn’t meant to replace your everyday bathtub, but for travel or temporary setups, it’s a great essential to have.✅ What I Like:• Compact & easy to use: Folds and unfolds quickly with no extra assembly and no need to inflate like some other travel tubs.• Travel-friendly: Packs easily in luggage and is spacious enough to use till toddler age.• Practical drainage: Comes with a water-release valve. While it’s not at the base (so you’ll need to tilt it to fully empty), it still makes draining easier.• Decent material: The plastic feels thick enough for occasional or travel use.⚠️Things to Note:• The sides do expand slightly when filled with water — expected for a non-rigid tub.• Best suited for use inside a larger bathtub or shower for extra stability.• Not intended for daily, long-term use — more of a travel essential or occasional solution.Bottom Line:A well-designed, lightweight, and portable tub that’s perfect for trips or short-term stays. It’s not a rigid tub, but it does the job for travel bathing needs and folds down small for easy storage.
Good little tub It folds up flat and light, easy to carry for travel or small bathrooms. Took it on a trip and it worked nice. sets up in seconds and feels really sturdy, not flimsy like others I tried. easy to clean and drian
This looked great in theory and I was excited to get it, since I travel with a baby. However, upon opening it, the vinyl smell was so foul that I just threw it in the trash.I wouldn't wash my shoes in something that smelled so toxic...
First of all, the foldable design is amazing, it’s super lightweight and compact so it takes up barely any space in the car or luggage. We recently went on a week, long trip and it was so easy to toss it in the trunk without sacrificing valuable space for other baby essentials. The material feels premium and sturdy. It isn’t flimsy and it’s easy to drain. It functions great and my little one seems to really enjoy bath time in this tub.
