08-03-2026I tried this on two pieces of metal, pressed them firmly together and then left them overnight. I could pry them apart relatively easily. Don't trust this for any project where I need a strong bond.Marketed as 3M VHB tape, it's printed on the red outer film of the roll.But the packaging is a plain bag (no 3M box or label).3M products have a code (3M product ID/part number (e.g., “5952” or “4910”) on the inner core of the tape rolls; this one doesn't have anything on the inner core of the roll.Price is significantly cheaper than normal (genuine 3M VHB is much more expensive)

08-03-2026So far I have only used this to adhere press-on nails to the stands I use while painting them and I need it to hold securely or it could ruin all my work. It has really worked out well for that. I buff the head of the nail stand a bit to make sure it can maximize the stick. One thing I really appreciate compared to other double-sided tape is that the backing comes of easy and cleanly. I just use tweezers to avoid my skin oils from neutralizing the adhesive. They hold until I slightly twist to pull the nail off and doesn't leave any residue on the inside.

08-03-2026I need double-sided tape for several uses. I work on computers a lot and when replacing laptop screens and batteries on various devices you need double-sided tape to keep items in place. This is really heavy duty and advertised to stand up to the heat. I've already replaced several screens and used this to adhere them to the frame and so far the foam is perfect. Its sticks perfectly and does not get brittle with heat after running a repaired laptop for some time. Works very well.

It has a very strong bond and has proven to be a reliable solution for a couple of tricky repairs.I used it for two completely different applications, and it worked well in both cases. First, I used it to re-secure a window screen seal that had come loose, and it created a solid, durable bond. I also used it in my car to re-attach a dashcam screen that was rattling, and it is now held firmly in place, withstanding the car's vibrations without any issues.This is a very effective and versatile tape that is great to have on hand for various household or automotive fixes. It works exactly as it should.
