Scandi Brut Non-alcoholic Champagne Wine | Sparkling - good for cocktails, good for mimosa

I purchased the Scandi Brut Non-Alcoholic Champagne wine to experiment with making cocktails in the morning, and I must say, it would be a great mixer for mimosas. I did half and half with typical orange juice, and it was surprisingly spot on for being a non-alcoholic drink. It has that crisp, dry taste of a brut wine, which is excellent for someone who doesn't drink alcohol, but still offers a somewhat similar flavor profile.Now here is the big, WARNING: You must drink this right away. Once you open it, it goes flat SO quickly you will be shocked. If you don't drink it in about three days, the rest of the bottle will be flat with no bubbles left at all. So if you are just drinking a glass, keep this in mind, the rest of the bottle will go flat quickly. It's a nice product, just to be consumed upon opening, which is why I took a star off.

I don’t drink alcohol any longer however this honestly tastes like the real deal to me. Even friends and family who do drink alcohol liked it. I’ll buy it again for sure. It’s delicious. Not sweet like some of the sparkling ciders I buy. It’s a tad dry and very crisp and bubbly.

I do enjoy a good champagne, however, I don't have a lot of knowledge about what makes a good champagne other than what I like and what I don't like after a sip. This one is very dry and a bit bitter. Champagne is supposed to be low in Tannins, but this one has that bitter tannin taste. Since I prefer sweet champagnes on their own, I do give this one props for being a good mixer. The sweetness of OJ or cranberry juice, even adding apple juice meant that it wasn't too sweet. I won't drink this on it's own, but as a mixer, it worked well.
