Isolation gowns are intended to offer comprehensive coverage for patients and health workers in a variety of medical settings, including hospitals, dental offices, clinics, and laboratories. This gown comes equipped with long sleeves and elastic cuffs to keep the gown in place. Adjustable neck and waist ties allow for a proper fit for healthcare professionals of any size so that the gown does not shift during use and minimizes exposure.
This design increases mobility and enables practitioners to maneuver about freely during work while still being protected. With their unisex design, these gowns provide consistent comfort, and flexibility for all medical professionals.
Features:
As part of our Community Animal Response Team (CART), we've extensively tested these isolation gowns during livestock emergency operations, and they've become an essential part of our biosecurity kit. While designed for medical use, they've proven excellent for our animal care settings where protection and contamination control are critical for both our human team members and the variety of animal species we can work with on any given deployment.Protection Performance - Reliable Barrier in Real Outdoor Working ConditionsThese gowns provide dependable protection when handling stressed, injured, or potentially infectious animals during emergency deployments. The fluid-resistant SMS material has held up well against the challenges of working with livestock in barns, temporary shelters, and outdoor settings. They effectively maintain quarantine protocols while protecting both our human volunteers and the animals we're helping.Comfort During Extended Use - Built for Long ShiftsThe lightweight, breathable material is a huge advantage during long hours of active work. Our team members consistently appreciate how comfortable these gowns remain throughout extended deployments. The material doesn't restrict movement, which is crucial when we require freedom of motion working with large animals.Fit & Adjustability - Works for EveryoneThe adjustable neck and waist ties accommodate all our team members regardless of size, ensuring consistent protection across our volunteer group. The knit cuffs are particularly excellent - they allow the long sleeves to adjust properly for each person while staying securely in place during active work. This feature works perfectly with our protective gloves, face shields, and boot coverings for complete protection.Practical Deployment Benefits - Simplifies BiosecurityThe disposable nature is invaluable for our work. After operating in potentially contaminated zones, we can safely remove and discard gowns without worrying about cross-contamination between different animal groups. This gives our volunteers peace of mind knowing they can return home safely without risking their own pets.Superior Quality - Noticeable ImprovementThese gowns are significantly higher quality than others we've used previously. They fit better, allow more natural movement, and importantly, don't seem to stress the already frightened animals we're working with. The ties remain secure throughout our work, and the overall construction feels more durable.Usage Rate & ValueDepending on deployment conditions, we might use several gowns per hour or less than a pack per day. At this price point, they're extremely cost-effective for equipping a volunteer-based emergency response team with consistent, reliable protection and a fairly non-existent financial budget.Bottom LineWhile marketed for medical settings, these gowns are perfect for any team working with animals or requiring reliable disposable protection. They've helped us maintain higher biosecurity standards while keeping both volunteers and animals safe. The quality, fit, and practical design make them an essential addition to our emergency response capabilities.Ideal for: Emergency response teams, veterinary settings, livestock handlers, anyone needing reliable disposable protectionBest features: Excellent knit cuffs, secure adjustable ties, breathable material, superior quality constructionPerfect because: Easy contamination control, comfortable for extended wear, accommodates full protective equipment setup, they fit over our full-outdoor summer and winter gear.
I ordered these durable isolation gowns to protect a family member who has severe environmental allergies. These gowns function to cover your clothes so the allergens get on the gown and protect the clothing while having to perform cleaning tasks. Having a one size disposable cover is a good fit and value for the money. It’s much easier than having to change and wash clothes constantly.
These isolation gowns worked perfectly for our school science experiments! They were easy to put on and provided great coverage to keep our clothes clean and protected from spills and splashes. The material is lightweight and comfortable, but still durable enough to handle messy work. They made cleanup so much easier and kept everyone looking neat afterward. Highly recommend for classrooms, labs, or any project where you need a little extra protection!
I got these isolation gowns as I had a skin condition that I was healing from. These are good quality isolation gowns with a good thickness. I am 5' 6", 135 lbs and the gowns fit me well. I did find the torso to be a bit wide but the sleeves fit me just right. The length was awesome. They are not entirely liquid proof and offer low to medium protection- could absorb a small amount of fluid. I decided to price these compared to other gowns and was shocked by the prices of isolation gowns in general these days, but these seem to fit in pricewise with the rest. They fit the function I was using them for.
Tried out these gowns and they do what they need to. They run a bit large generally, but for myself, I’m 5 ft tall and it’s almost a full coverage gown on me. I personally don’t mind that though when working with patients. I do like the moderate thickness of these lab gowns as opposed to other brands ordered from dental websites and the cuffs on the sleeves are a huge plus! The string for the neck tie is sturdy but the one around the waist is like an inch thick strand of the gown material. It’s a little weird and feels like it could accidentally rip if you pull too hard. One thing I don’t particularly like about it is it doesn’t repel water if by chance it gets on your sleeve or soaked by fluids. I tested it out by splashing some water on my sleeve and it was 50/50 on repelling and absorbing water.Since these are one time use disposable gowns though, they’re decent quality and wouldn’t mind these for future use overall.
100-Pack, Disposable L-Sleeved Isolation Gowns, Large, Blue, w/ Knit Cuffs, Waist & Neck TiesThese look and work as expected -- basic PPE.I'd say the durability is mid-level and will last you the day.The knit cuffs are an issue -- they can soak up any and all liquids & attract hair/fur/dirt/dust.You will need to think about how you wanna wear your gloves (over the cuffs is the best idea).Otherwise, the fit is adjustable up to about XXL... and the price is fair at under $1 per gown.
These are pretty thin, but that could be a blessing if you are working in warm conditions. The good news is that they are durable. I got the size XL so they could fit my 6', 220 lb hubby, and they do fit him. They are true to size. They are easy to use and you get so many! They are reusable for non-sterile applications, too. They come packaged for sterility, though. They also function as expected. Easy to put on and take off. All in all a great value for the cost.
