Sounds is clear. But the mic and receiver must be in proximity to turn on which means you can't turn it off and on to silence it.
I like this headset. Very easy to use and I like how it detaches from the headset.
This headset does what it promises. It's really easy to operate. Just charge both ends, the headset part and the receiver, with the included split USB cable, turn both on and they pair automatically. The microphone is directional, it suppresses the sounds from the back, which helps with keeping feedback away. The sound quality is very good for voice. There is definitely a high pass filter in place because there is no plosives or boominess to the sound. Some headset mics will respond with a loud pop when hit with a "P" or "B" sound, not this one. You can talk close to the mic and it will sound correct with almost no artifacts. Just keep the foam filter on it.The range is good, but 100 ft would be pushing it. I used it in my backyard and walked about 60ft away from the receiver, then cleared the house corner and the signal dropped within another 15ft.The bad part is that once I lost the signal I had to get close to the receiver for them to pair again. Just walking back to 60ft. did not restore the connection. The wearing comfort is not great. The headband wire is hard and snug. It would be good to have some sort of padding by the ears. The snug fit is good for aerobics, but padding should be added. Finally, there is a bit of hiss on the output, but it is noticeable only when there is no speaking or music. In normal use it is not an issue.I have to duck one star for the comfort. Other than that this is a very good value for around $30.00.
If you're an auctioneer, story teller, performing an intimate wedding ceremony, speaking at small meetings/gatherings, doing intimate product demonstrations etc., this would be a great entry level wireless mic that won't break the bank.I previously reviewed the XIAOKOA. "Saxophone" model. I was curious as how much of a downgrade this inexpensive mic would be- if any.As before, I was seeking some cheaper options for melodica and accordion. Though this model is intended for spoken word, it actually did a good job on the melodica.Construction is the same as the sax model plastic, but well put together. Comes with a dual USB cable. I never bothered with the headset attachment , so can't comment there. After charging, tried it in a rehearsal, and had plenty of power left. Before we go any further it's important to note these are budget mics. This one is intended for speech. If I were doing critical recording or high profile speaking events, or using an instruments with a broader frequency range these wouldn't be my first choice. At least for live use, Melodicas do fine with limited range. For someone just needing the instrument on a couple songs like me, these mics work perfectly.Audio wise, the mic sounded very close to its bigger brother. I'm not positive they aren't using the same mic capsule. Like the other model, it still needs some gain. Using with a mixer or something that is meant for hi-impedance would be best. One thing I really did like about this model was the gooseneck was actually ideal for melodica, and a tad longer than the Sax model. So in my XIAOKOA wireless collection I've decided to use this model on melodica(s) and their sax model on my accordion. I've previously used cheap piezo mics that cost more than this unit,. Since these are auxiliary instruments to my main instrument, I'm happy to be able to go wireless and still sound decent for the couple of songs I need them for.If actually using this mic for its intended purpose, I think it's great value for casual use, or to keep as a spare. I probably wouldn't choose this for mission critical use in large or regular professional presentations or houses of worship. But as mentioned, great entry level wireless mic that won't break the bank.
Ich habe es im Rahmen meiner Dozententätigkeit verwendet; keine technischen Störungen!
Very good hands free microphone and headset with some nice features. I'll list the features I liked first then get on the with performance. The charging feature is a nice one, one USB A connection, and two standard USB C connections in a Wye split to charge both transmitter and receiver simultaneously. Convenient, I have a lot of things on my USB charger block from rechargeable salt and pepper grinders to hair clippers, to speakers, to Hydrogen bottle generators etcetera. Since the batteries do not draw a lot of current a split charger cable works well. Another nice feature is the automatic 2.4G wireless pairing when both the transmitter and receiver are switched on. It's monaural as a sound device and comes with an adapter to turn a small pin connection into a larger headphone type connection. again, not stereo but mono. It's clever how they make the snap together head hugger wire to connect to the transmitter, although I suspect this mostly saves on packaging. Very light and comfortable, easy to adjust. In testing I simply connected it to where I normally pair a wireless receiver to my karaoke speaker. I liked the range and that I could walk around with hands free movement across a long room and not lose contact. I have some early karaoke mic sets that will drop out frequently unless held perfectly still. While the newer ones are much better, this one had no dropouts. That may be that it's fixed in place when using, but still a good feature. One other bad thing about my other wireless mics is most of them take batteries. That gets expensive, so I prefer the ones with build in rechargeable Lithium batteries. Both transmitter and receiver have that, so no replacement disposable batteries are required.Fidelity, it's pretty good, but not up to high quality mic standards. I cross tested with my best wireless mics and they definitely outperformed this, but given the design, that was totally expected. It actually did do about as well as some of my cheaper wired mics. It has a built-on wind guard, but it will let some sound through, as I could hear myself breathing with the gain up on my speaker. Frequency response is a bit off in the bass range, and the range depicted in the manual states this. It lists it at 100Hz which is where typical speakers are normally in the sixty to eighty range. High end speakers can hit the bass range of human hearing at about 30Hz. I can hear the bass drop off, but it's not bad for most vocal spoken ranges. I'm not going to deduct here as this is expected for this kind of headset mic. Good value, and many uses. A hands-free phone headset which can let you walk around and work while communicating. Recommended.
Thank you
