The handles broke right away. I took it on a trip and didn’t work out at all. Ended up having to take my daughter a shower standing up. The holder for infants didn’t have instructions.
We really like to give these collapsible baby tubs as gifts. Lots of places don't have a bath tub or even a large enough kitchen sink to give a baby a nice bath. These provide a nice size and deep enough bath that you can use about anywhere. This tub seems to be built of a little heavier, nicer vinyl material. It seems plenty sturdy but still expands and collapses easily. It's nice that you can partially expand it to keep the tub shallow enough for younger babies to be safer but when expanded all the way it's a great play tub for toddlers (or pets). The drain is easy to use. The cute animal design is a nice addition and makes it a more appealing gift.I didn't care much for the mesh support but it would be fine as long as you are right there providing additional support for the baby. The fold-flat feature for storage is great for anyone but especially parents in small apartments. Please read the instructions or watch the video. The side brace brackets are easy to install if you know how and they make all the difference. The Amazon price point is perfect for shower or new baby gifts and they are always appreciated.
I really like the collapsable bath tub. Its very easy to use and set up and it also has a thermometer included. It has a little net to set the baby inside and very spacious to use. Very safe to use for all ages and nice and compact to put away
Purchased this for my daughter and she loves it. Makes it so much easier to bath the little ones no matter where you are. Easy travel pack and safe to use for both the new born and my 1 year old grand baby.
This baby bath tub has been super handy in our home. I don’t have a ton of bathroom storage, so the fact that it collapses flat has been amazing. I can just slide it out of the way when we’re done. The little cushion insert is really soft and supportive, especially for younger babies, and the built-in thermometer gives some extra peace of mind when filling it. It’s definitely sturdy and feels safe and I appreciate the drainage outlet too. Overall, it’s made bath time easier and more comfortable, and I really like having a tub that will work as baby grows.
The thermometer is great. Compared with the baby's bathtub thermometer and they were almost exact. This is so perfect. Our place has such limited space. We have a shower stall area in the bedroom where we spend most of our time. I had purchased an inflatable tub, but someone picked it up wrong, and it broke. bought a second one, it somehow got a hole in it, and I had to keep blowing it up. So, i thought this would be a good alternative. It is spacious enough and fits in our shower stall. We use a little "tea party" wooden chair, to sit on, so we are lower to the ground, and are able to bathe the little young'ins more easily, without feeling like you are breaking your back. the plug is great; it keeps you from having to dump a full tub of water and having a tidal wave of water all over your floor, when you are rushing. We keep it in the shower stall, and when we need to shower, we move it to the bedroom. Otherwise, I am not confident it would be dry to collapse, and when I would, it is bath time again. It is very convenient and a great space saver!
When my siblings and I were young and we were old enough to sit up, my mother would bathe us in the kitchen sink. That makes so much more sense to me than filling a huge tub and having to kneel and lower and lift a little one to wash them. Unfortunately, I have a split sink and neither side is quite big enough to bathe a baby in.This tub can sit right on my counter next to the sink. I can fill it there and bathe the little one without having to do all that bending, kneeling and lifting. The mesh sling even makes it suitable for newborns. I like that it is mesh so it dries easily leaving no little crevices for mold to grow. Watch the video on the product page so you can see options for sizing the sling. The tub itself dries quickly and can be folded and put aside till the next bath time.I tested the thermometer before using it comparing its reading with that of my candy thermometer and meat thermometer and they were all within .2 degrees of one another. In my opinion, this is much easier than any of the options that require you to use a big bathtub (although you can use this in one if that is your preference). The only thing I would have preferred is if the plug was not smack in the center but over to the side a bit.
This baby bathtub is nice. It's portable and can be folded up to store if you don't have a lot of space. It's fairly easy to set up as well, although getting the pieces to lock the sides in place are a little difficult at first. But I think over time with use, they'll get easier.Once set up, it's a nice size and setup for an infant (or small animal). The mesh part is nice to have with a newborn to help kept their head up higher. The temperature gauge is great to ensure the water temp is not too hot or cold. And once your done using it, it's simple to dry out and fold up for storable.I find this well-made. I'm not sure why other reviewers find it flimsy, possibly they didn't know to add the support pieces on the side to make this rigid for use. I will say the instructions that came with this aren't the best, but once I watched the video on this listing, I found it pretty simple to do.If you're looking for a portable bathtub at a reasonable price, this is a great option! I would recommend to others.
