ECHOtape DC-U032A | White Double-sided Tape | Heavy Duty Double-sided Tape | Permanent Mounting and Bonding | Strong Double-sided Tape | Indoor/Outdoor Double-sided Tape
For several years I have been using EC-U032A Double Faced tape to help hold material, usually wood, in place on my CNC Router. As I was near the end of my last roll my supplier disappeared. I tried several other double-faced tapes that I had in the shop but it was terrible (or worse). The alternates were all very thin, like cellophane, but sticky. They would hold the material OK but not good. Then the tape was very difficult to remove and left a residue. If I would have started off with the thin tape I would not be using double-faced tape today.I called ECHOtape to try to get more EC-U032A. They answered the phone, spoke American English, and were more help than any company I have called in years. We also exchanged several emails and they were always quick to respond. They sent me a couple samples of tapes that are recommended for CNC use. The tape was great but the backing was difficult to remove.I wanted to use the EC-U032A but didn’t care for the shipping charge so I asked if they sold on Amazon. They do but Amazon hides them under a few hundred other tapes, ECHOtape EC-U032A was hard to find but it is there. On Amazon, they are not Amazon Prime so you still have to pay shipping. It was $5.99 for one roll or 10 rolls, not $5.99 for each roll. I bought a couple rolls of 12 and 18mm tape this time but I will get 10 the next time. I am donating some to my woodworking club.EC-U032A is easy to apply, it has wonderful holding power, you won’t need to use a lot. Because it is tough it doesn’t break apart when removing it. It does not leave a residue and it is not expensive.I highly recommend this company and this product.
Used this to install radiant double bubble insulation on a metal building. Worked great for my purpose.
