Ok so, this baby hooded towel is definitely functional for my needs despite the reviews saying it’s not super absorbent. It is absolutely adorable and so practical! The elephant design is beyond cute, and the extra-large size (49”x31”) means it actually wraps around my little one completely — no cold drafts after bath time!I have a 3 month old and he bathes in the kitchen sink. It’s pretty drafty in the kitchen and his bamboo hooded towels are just so thin and offer no warmth. So, to alleviate that, I ordered this super thick towel and it wrapped him up so good. Let’s just be honest, most of us use more than one towel for bath time. I use like three. One to put my baby in the tub with, the bamboo towel and now THIS to double wrap him up. It worked out perfectly for me to transport him to my room to get dressed. Therefore, I would say this is more for warmth. The coral fleece material is unbelievably soft and to me still super absorbent, drying my baby quickly while keeping them cozy and warm, especially during the winter.I also love how lightweight yet plush it feels — it dries fast afterwards. I haven’t had a chance to wash this item yet to know how it pales in the washing machine, but it does say wring dry. I’m not one to follow washing instructions (much like cooking) so, I would just wash from experience with fabric on a cool or warm, deep water color cycle with extra rinse. This towel has become my go-to baby towel. It makes a great shower gift because it’s both functional and precious. Trust me, it’s really impressive. If you’re looking for a towel that’s as snuggly as it is cute, this one is perfect! A great buy overall.
The towel looks so cute on the my son, my son is 6 years old, except for the height, the size is perfect and he loves it. The towel is very very soft, and weight is just right for him. The towel is thick hence it seems durable. Overall it's very easy to use, and worth the price.Apart from using it as a towel, my son is looking forward to use it as a blanker during our road trips during winter..
I know this is a towel for baby but honestly my two year old steals it at every opportunity as she loves wearing it! This is a large towel with embroidered eyes and a trunk to represent an elephant on the hood part and my toddler loves to put it on and pretend she's an elephant. A bonus is that it has two snaps down the front sides so that you can completely close the towel around a child. The snaps are white plastic and easily pop open and closed. For my baby it absolutely swaddles him and dries him quickly and we have also used it as a playmat as it is really soft and cosy and of a size that it gives him plenty of room to play and roll around so we have found multiple uses in our household for this hooded baby towel. The fabric is so soft and seems really good quality. We've already run it through the washer/dryer several times without issue beyond the hood and 'trunk' on the hood taking a bit long to dry. Not something I'd take a star off for but just something to know when purchasing.Very nice quality and well made and constructed but it is very much solid elephant gray so if you are looking for something more colorful this would not be it. I'm a fan though and my family loves it.
This elephant baby bath towel is honestly adorable. It soaks up water really well and keeps my baby warm the second I wrap her in it. The material feels super soft and cozy, and the little elephant design just makes it even better. It’s become one of our go-to bath towels.
I got this hooded baby towel because the elephant design looked super cute, and it really is. My kid looks adorable wrapped up in it after bath time. However, I have to be honest, it doesn't soak up water as well as a regular cotton towel. The material is a fleece texture, which feels incredibly soft, light and seems durable, but it acts more like a microfiber towel where you kind of have to pat the water off instead of having it instantly absorb. It's great for snuggling and keeping them warm, especially in the winter, and the extra-large size is awesome for toddlers. If you want a towel that is mostly about being cozy and cute, this works, but just know its not that easy to use when drying your child, you'll spend a little more time drying them off completely.
This hooded towel is adoreable!! The towel is super large and the fabric is very thick, almost like a thin blanket vs an absorbent terry towel. Cute character and soft!
I got this hooded towel for my baby, but decided to give it to my older kid instead. My baby has enough towels already, and this one is so large. It can definitely dry a baby, a toddler or an older child. It is absorbent and well made with decent quality stitching. I find a few things odd here, like why didn’t the product listing include a photo of the adorable elephant hood? The color is a bit different, something between grey and beige. Also, why does the tag say hand wash only, do not wring dry? That’s ridiculous, who has time for washing a towel that way. I put mine in the washing machine on cold water, and dried it on low heat, the same way I clean all my baby clothes, towels and blankets, and it came out fine. Speaking of blankets, this towel rather feels like a fleece blanket. I am fairly satisfied with this towel, and would recommend it for babies, toddlers and young children.
Very cute looking. Very fluffy, soft and absorbent. It's more than big enough to work as a swaddle or a blanket. Would add a photo but I couldn't get her to stay still long enough to get anything that wasn't blurry.
