08-03-2026Very nice, foldable 2-pack wooden box set. The product description (and the graphics on the front of each box) say they’re for disposable shoe covers - one for distributing clean ones on the way into a house and the other for collecting the used ones on the way out. I’m sure they work great for that purpose, but I actually ordered them to use as storage for accessories like hats, gloves and umbrellas in my coat closet.They’re made of a sturdy wood and fold flat for easy storage when not in use, and the hinges are made of metal. When assembled, they’re actually quite durable and solid and hold their shape with no problem, much better than the fabric and cardboard storage boxes I’m currently using. They’re also very generously sized, measuring 6”x8”, and fit easily on a closet shelf. The assembly couldn’t be easier - just fold out and insert the wooden base at the bottom and it’s done. I also like that each box is a different color, making it easy to locate what I’m looking for at a glance. I should also mention that these boxes don’t have lids, which is perfect for what I’m using them for. I don’t want to fumble with a lid when reaching up on a shelf.The price is also reasonable, especially considering they’re much more durable than their fabric and cardboard counterparts and will outlast them for much longer. I couldn’t be any happier with these, and with their strength and functionality. I’ll be ordering more sets for my storage needs.
