Used these at Disneyland during a rain storm. They worked but I’d say every 2 hours need to be replaced because I’d feel a little water at my toes.

I’ve been using these disposable waterproof shoe covers for about a week now, mainly for quick trips outside in wet grass and for covering shoes during a few messy DIY projects. For something meant to be single-use, they held up impressively well. The plastic feels noticeably thicker than typical disposable covers — not flimsy or crinkly — with a slightly rubberized texture that resists tearing and stays flexible even in colder temperatures. Each cover is individually wrapped, which makes them easy to grab and toss in a car, work bag, or entryway drawer. They fit true to size, comfortably covering shoes up to around a men’s 12 or women’s 13 with a bit of stretch. I tested them over sneakers and lightweight boots, and the elastic around the ankle sealed snugly without cutting off circulation. That elastic also keeps water from sneaking in around the cuff — a detail a lot of cheaper versions miss.Performance-wise, they’re completely waterproof. I stood in shallow puddles and wet grass for about ten minutes at a time, and my shoes stayed completely dry. The plastic beads water instantly, and even after a few wears, none of the seams split. The slip resistance was another pleasant surprise — the textured sole provides good grip on tile, pavement, and concrete, and I didn’t feel unstable walking over slick spots. Each pair weighs almost nothing (about 0.6 oz), but they feel sturdy enough for multiple uses if you’re gentle. I reused two pairs across several days and only noticed slight scuffing at the heel. Afterward, they still folded flat and fit back into a bag pocket easily.Packaging came clean and organized: a resealable outer bag containing 24 individually wrapped pairs. No chemical odor or oily residue on any of them. They’re clearly meant for convenience — ideal for keeping shoes dry at outdoor events, garden work, or walking across muddy parking lots — but the quality makes them surprisingly reliable even for short-term repeated use. After a week of testing, none leaked, tore, or slipped. For lightweight, disposable covers, these are a step above the usual “one and done” versions and definitely hold up to real-world use.
The rainproof shoe covers are better than expected.Build & Design:They are thin and lightweight but deceptively durable. I would expect if you're walking/running across gravel or anything sharp, the bottoms may get torn up. But normal use, I think these would hold up for multiple uses. They're folded up into tiny pouches which makes them easy to throw in a glove box or backpack.Functionality:These slip on over your shoes and enclose the entire shoe in a plastic bag. There is elastic around the ankle to keep a snug fit. Not too tight, but it wasn't loose for me either. It has a surprising amount of stretch to open up around an entire shoe. These are affordable enough and reusable enough to use for even everyday tasks, on a job, or keeping your Sunday shoes dry on the way to church.Pros:- 24 pairs, enough to last quite a while- Fit well- Keeps feet dry!Cons:- I really don't have anything negative to say.. they're thin (but still waterproof)Bottom Line:At less then $15, it’s worth keeping these on hand. I've got a pair in my glove box and a pair in my backpack for anything unexpected.
I bought these for a Disney trip where it showed it would be raining the whole day for 2 of the days we were there. I bought these for that reason. The size is HUGE but it’s meant to be a one size fits all. I got electric bands to keep them up because the elastic on the shoe cover did tend to slip down my ankle. They lasted through a 14 hour Disney day. My mom and sister bought different brands and both of them had to use a second pair half way through the day because they ripped. Mine didn’t have a single hole and kept my shoes totally dry even though we were walking through puddles the whole day. They protected my shoes which I was grateful for because my family had soggy shoes the next day and I didn’t. Lastly each pair comes in individual packages which makes them very easy travel with.
Over the years I have attended outdoor events where I helped friends who were participating vendors. Unfortunately, some of those events occurred on rainy days, with pop-up thunderstorms. Over time, I managed to ruin two pairs of shoes in the process. After learning that lesson, I did keep the ruined shoes to use for bad weather outdoor events and yard work, so it wasn’t a total loss. But I never realized that there existed shoe covers like these. They come packed in plastic envelopes each containing one pair of covers. The envelope is small enough easily fit in a pocket or purse without taking up a lot of space. Very convenient! The elastic opening expands enough to easily put them on over your shoes. And while they do not look fancy, who said fancy could not be useful or valuable? I’ll take useful any day if it saves a pair of $100.00+ shoes from damage. In terms of fit, the smaller your shoe size the baggier they will look. But again, function over fashion. As far as to how durable they are, I have not had the opportunity to give them a good test as we have been experiencing drought conditions. What I can say is that I am happy that these are affordable protection, and that you can carry them around with you without being a burden.
