I received this product through the Amazon Vine Program, and it turned out to be even better than expected. Very practical and comfortable for the user. The fabric is extremely soft and cozy, with a flannel-like feel that’s gentle on the skin but still lightweight enough for everyday wear. The snaps and ties are very secure and well-placed, making it easy for caregivers to assist with dressing or medical access without causing discomfort. The open-back design allows for full accessibility while maintaining modesty, and there are multiple adjustable ties, which make it very customizable for different needs or mobility levels. The craftsmanship is impressive; nothing feels flimsy, and the fit is true to size with a relaxed, adaptive design. The light purple color is soft and calming, exactly as pictured.Overall, this gown combines comfort, functionality, and thoughtful design perfectly. It’s ideal for recovery, home care, or anyone who needs adaptive clothing. Highly recommend!
I ordered this Liokok gown for my mother who is recovering from a broken hip. She's 5'1" and about 100 pounds and the size small is quite roomy on her and hangs a little below her knees, but it is soft and comfortable, and the fabric is heavy enough to provide some warmth. It looks more like a soft house dress than a hospital gown. The snap buttons make it easy for caregivers to assist with dressing, but they're too small for her arthritic fingers to manage on her own. There are three small buttons on the front which are mostly decorative, and zippers at the wrists to open the sleeves a bit more. The robe looks and feels nice, and covers her backside when she's walking around. The soft cotton fabric is and seams are gentle against her fragile skin. The stitching quality is straight with no loose threads. I think she'll enjoy wearing this gown when she’s able to leave the care facility and lounge at home. Unfortunately, I didn’t find out until it arrived, that it can Ibe hand-washed or machine-washed on cool, but must be hung to dry or dry cleaned. Not being able to put clothing in the dryer is a dealbreaker for me, and I don’t appreciate when that detail is left from a product description. It's nice, but I'm not sure I want to commit to picking it up and transporting it between the care facility and the dry cleaners. If you don't mind the extra care needed for laundering, than you or a loved one will appreciate this soft and comfortable Liokok flannel gown.
I bought this flannel hospital gown for my recovery after surgery, and it has been a lifesaver. It is a massive upgrade from the scratchy, revealing gowns they give you at the hospital.Design & Function:The design is incredibly thoughtful for post-surgery recovery. The snaps down the back make it easy to get on and off, even with limited mobility, and the zipper access is great for doctors to check incisions without me having to fully undress. The 3/4 sleeves are perfect for IV access or blood pressure checks.Comfort:The flannel material is soft, warm, and comfortable against the skin. It feels like wearing a cozy nightgown rather than a clinical garment. It provided me with much-needed dignity and comfort during a difficult time.Overall:This is a 5-star product. If you or a loved one is facing surgery or a hospital stay, I highly recommend bringing your own gown like this one. It makes a world of difference.
A pleasant, comfortable adaptive clothing option. It’s both functional and fairly flattering for what it is. (It reminds me of a wizard’s robe ... in a good way.) The gray color is dark and neutral, as pictured, and the fabric is soft, velvety, and a bit stretchy, with a fuzzy, slightly shiny surface. It looks and feels an awful lot like synthetic microfleece, though the tag says 90% cotton and 10% Spandex. As noted in another review, the tag says it can be machine washed but to drip dry in the shade. Mine dried pretty quickly while hung up. The construction quality is fine, nothing special but not bad, and it seems like it should hold up over time and with laundering. For those who care about technical fabric details: Construction-wise, the fabric isn’t traditional flannel in the sense of being a woven fabric, and at the ends of the ties, where the cut edge of the fabric is visible, you can see super tiny knit stitches. This garment does all the things shown in the listing — the sleeves unzip (both of them open all the way up to the shoulder), the shoulders have snaps, and it ties closed in the back. The neck buttons work and aren’t just decorative. Also, there’s a little leeway in sizing. Medium fits on a person who’s normally a small or extra small without looking especially oversized, maybe because the garment is already loose-fitting.
This gown is incredibly soft. It’s so soft, in fact, that I didn’t initially believe it was actually cotton flannel. It feels like a fluffy, snuggly microfiber. I cut a piece of the fabric from inside a seam and did a burn test on it to double-check that the label was correct. It does, indeed, burn like cotton with a little bit of spandex in it.It looks very well-made. All the fabric edges are serged, and the seam stitches are small. I expect the stitching to withstand a lot of stress, as you’d expect a hospital gown to endure. The snaps feel durable, and the snap tape is securely stitched down. The zippers in the sleeves have a piece of fabric to prevent skin from rubbing against the teeth. The buttons at the neckline are functional, with working buttonholes. The overlapping flaps on the back provide good coverage, and the side tie keeps the top flap securely in place. The inside flap is an excellent spot to pin a nephrostomy bag, with the outer flap hiding it from view.Overall, this is an exceptional hospital gown. It’s crafted from high-quality materials and is so incredibly soft and comfortable to wear that it has instantly become a new favorite.
