I got this because I've tried Partake Brewing IPA before and thought that the tropical flavor sounded good. It comes in two 6 packs like it did last time. It has a slight hoppy taste, but not too hoppy. I can't say that I taste the tropical flavoring too much though. Honestly, it reminds me of the other flavor I tried. It tastes decent for a non alcoholic beer. I don't know if I would recommend this based on price. It seems costly to me. And when it comes down to it I'm not really a fan of IPA's and I was hoping this would change my mind.
I’m practicing Sober October, and the Partake Brewing Tropical IPA has been a nice addition to the rotation. That said, this isn’t a particularly strong IPA—it’s actually rather weak, and I don’t get many tropical notes from it despite the name. However, it drinks very smooth, the flavor is mild but not at all objectionable, and it’s refreshing for a non-alcoholic option. The quality is good, and considering the low calories and clean ingredients, it’s a good value for the money.
This non-alcoholic beer came in 2 boxes, each with 6 cans. I chilled one before tasting, and it really does taste like beer, just without the alcohol. The flavor is smooth and balanced, though I didn’t notice anything tropical despite the name. A great option if you enjoy the taste of beer but want to skip the alcohol!
I got this Partake Non Alcoholic Tropical IPA for my husband who's recently switched from drinking regular IPAs to the non alcoholic. The beer had a nice pour, looking like a typical hazy IPA although a tad darker, perhaps because of the amount of barley used. It also had the distinct scent of hops but they didn't carryover as much to the flavor, unlike other highly hopped NA brands. The taste was fruity and light, highly drinkable, but not the best NA IPA, maybe because the brand is going for the lighter more tropical taste. Pretty decent.
Great on taste while not making me feel like I need to lay down. I'm liking this new trend.
Two view points here.I myself do not like most all IPAs, this was not that bad. I couldnt tell you it was non alc. It does have less of a grapefruit taste which is why I dont typically like IPAs. It had only a hint of a pineapple like taste, nothing else really all that tropical about it. I will say this tasted the most like a real beer than any other 0 proof/non alc beer I have ever tried. My friend that does like IPAs agreed the grapefruit taste was subtitle compared to a normal IPA. He only could tell a tiny bit of pineapple and like me, whished there was more "tropical" about it. But also picked up on other "pine" type flavors that I did not. He also picked up on a "multi grain bread" type aftertaste that I did not notice.Overall if this was more "tropical" I would say they nailed it for an IPA.
Partake makes some of the most flavorful non alcoholic brews out there, and this is no exception.Strong IPA taste with a peach/pineapple zinc to it. Really unique this along with their peach GOSE are some of our favorites.Recommend!
