This boxed spring water tastes clean and refreshing with no strange aftertaste, which is exactly what you want from bottled water. The packaging is what really stands out — the paperboard carton feels sturdy, and it’s a nice alternative to traditional plastic bottles. It’s non-BPA, easy to hold, and feels more environmentally friendly. Each carton is a good grab-and-go size, and they stack nicely in the fridge. I like that the cap is also plant-based, which adds to the overall sustainability. The water stays cold longer than expected, and the carton doesn’t get soggy or soft.Overall, this is a great option if you want clean spring water and prefer eco-friendly packaging. It’s simple, refreshing, and a good swap from plastic bottles.

The GLAS Water (12 Pack) 16.9oz 500ml Boxed Natural Spring Water is a great way to easily be able to grab water when you need it. I personally have been trying to drink more water than soda and ordered these because I felt if I had these in the refrigerator already cold I would be more inclined to grab this. I like that the carton is paperboard since it can easily be recycled and better for the environment than plastic bottles. It also helps keep you from consuming plastic particles. The bottles are too expensive unfortunately in my opinion at the current price of $23.99 for the 12 pack. The water does taste good though and is refreshing.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with boxed water, but GLAS Water absolutely won me over. The taste is incredibly clean and crisp. There is no plastic aftertaste, no weird mineral flavor, just refreshing spring water. It’s the kind of water you actually notice, but in a good way.The eco-friendly carton is a huge bonus. It feels sturdy, easy to hold, and I feel better knowing I’m using something far more sustainable than a plastic bottle. The packaging design is simple and modern, too, which makes it stand out. The 16.9oz size is perfect for taking on walks, to the gym, or keeping at my desk, especially since the cap doesn't leak.If you want great-tasting water with environmentally conscious packaging, this is an easy choice. Its also a great value at the current price. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

    - I’m really impressed by this water! The only ingredient is natural spring water, no additives. It is both sourced and bottled close in Virginia. The manufacturer is located in Pennsylvania so this being a product of the USA is a huge selling point.- I wasn’t completely sold on the paper boxes originally, but I actually prefer these now because of the shape. It makes it so much easier to fit them in the refrigerator without losing too much space. I also don’t have to worry about leaving plastic in my car or somewhere else where it might get too hot and leach out some sort of chemical.- The plant based lids fit snuggly on the top but open easily. I prefer the feeling of the box in my hand and notice that the boxes don’t get condensation on them like plastic bottles do.- The water tastes great, just crisp simple water with no mineral or salty aftertaste.- At around $24 for a 12 pack, these are more expensive than your regular pack of water from the grocery store. They are cheaper than some of the more well known brands of boxed water though, which often run about $30 for a 12 pack.- Overall, even though they are more expensive than regular bottled water, I think this product is worth it. Not only is the packing better for the consumer, it’s better for the environment too!

While we try to utilize reusable bottles for water consumption, I also like to keep some bottled water on hand for times when we lose power (which happens to us more often than I wished due to living in the mountains and dealing with fallen trees) and we also keep some in an emergency bag in our vehicle. I never liked the idea of keeping water in plastic bottles especially long term, and that’s where water bottled like this comes to the rescue. This water comes in a non-BPA carton that is FSC certified renewable and recyclable with a plant based sugarcane polymer cap. No microplastics to worry about. I also love that this is sourced and produced in the USA and in the Blue Ridge Mountains to boot, which is where we live. This spring water tastes crisp, clear and refreshing with no weird mineral aftertaste. The boxes feel firm and they’re easy to grip onto and hold. The tops are made at a slight angle which I find helps them be even nicer to drink from, the caps are safety locked until opened (by twisting counter-clockwise) and they don’t leak once opened and closed again. Ours has a nice 2 year expiration date clearly printed on the tops.At about $2 per 16.9oz bottle I feel this water is worth it for the many pluses it offers over plastic bottled water. Plus it just tastes really nice. Our family enjoys it a lot.

The brand advertises a lower carbon footprint, plant based cap, etc. Tastewise, it does its job, it’s just water, no weird flavors or additives, so if you’re looking for something clean and simple, it works. Packaging feels lightweight and somewhat nicer than the typical plastic bottles. Feels good to have “something different” for those times you want to move away from full on plastic. Because the packaging is “premium” and eco oriented, you’re paying far more than standard plastic bottled spring water. I feel that these are actually quite pricey compared to larger plastic bottles. There is a bit of an aftertaste due to the carton material. If you care about moving away from single use plastic bottles, you’re comfortable paying a little more, and you want the illusion of bettering the planet, these are for you. (A lot of recycling centers will not accept these as recyclable due to the materials, so it will end up in a landfill anyways). For me personally, I’d buy the GLAS Water once to try it out, but I wouldn’t switch my entire water stock over, there are better alternatives.
